Nope. Not at all. There are different pink 'families' and lip pencils and glosses can change the looks of pinks also.

A lot of people hate to see me wear red lips and sometimes I feel like I look like a racist cartoon with red lips on because I have large lips with a bright pink bottom lip but I emailed MAC and they told me to use the Viva Glam I lipstick with the Mahogany lip pencil.

OK The MAC has sold me yet again on Viva Glam I lipstick and the Mahogany lip pencil!! Woo hooo! I can finally wear red lipstick and not look like a now-illegal Popeye cartoon or something.

If you are a black person who is light to medium brown skinned buy the Viva Glam I lipstick if you wanna wear red lipstick! Only dark skinned black people can wear true reds on their lips, it's the truth.

I must disagree with your Back to Mac Recycling Points. Any MAC container can be recycled just as long as it is 6. This includes foundation containers, cleanser bottles, eyeshadow pro palette tins, miniature lipglass, etc....I have done it dozens of times at the MAC store counters as well as Macy's...never had a problem!
