@ardeladimwit That makes no sense at all. Singing has little to do with skating. Evan's interpretation is bland. Compare to what Yagudin and Kwan did with this music.
@Zuranthium yagudin falls out of his first jump. sloppy spinner. you like melodrama. melodrama is not finesse. Kwan is a woman. I sing Tosca not scarpia. I know the opera -Y does some funky moves during the execution music? He's clueless re: music Evan-is incredible. Only T Cranston skated like this Cranston had it all, technique, jumps, spins, footwork & charisma that's Fleming talking I think. She was pretty ok herself. they still did school figures then, too. F Carroll is same man.
@Zuranthium Yagudin falls three times and each time hand on ice-- zit footwork--you gotta be kidding. Sorry, I grew up with watching great skaters and Yagudin isn't one of them. so you can keep your opinion, but Lysacek is my man. He doesn't just stand about on the ice or flap his arms ocassionally-- his footwork is very very complicated. He done good by Carroll.
@ardeladimwit Wtf are you talking about falls 3 times? And Yagudiin isn't a great skater? You're insane. "Flapping his arms occasionally" is exactly what Evan does. There is no real emotion or intricacy in Evan's performance, it's just all going through the motions.
Evan's skating is so powerful - no fussy little moments - all very passionate! He is truly an Italian Tenor on ice.

Gosh, this is good. I wish he would have skated this program for a longer period of time.
