Cost of living is a small expense once you get your finances in order. What matters is 'return on invested capital' and 'amount untaxed'. It's silly that our fellow Americans wonder why all the big money is leaving the country. taxes :)

What?? Hong Kong is under the governmental rule of Communist CHINA! Not exactly what I'd call a libertarian paradise. Hong Kong citizens have no rights against their government...only privileges that the Communist government allows...for now.

China is much freer than Americans imagine.

The cops don't carry guns. If the people watching don't like what the cops are doing, they talk them out of it.

Americans at home have a lot of rights and freedoms in theory. Chinese at home don't have as many rights in theory but the authorities tend to leave them alone.
