Alexaikis needs to stop making music, he's lost his guru. Saw him in Vegas and he f**ked up 2 of Everclears most popular songs, STOPPING the band and starting them over. Old Everclear had something, this doesn't. Artists that can't impact listeners with their MUSIC try to find new ways to get listeners with eyebrow raising track titles. This song is an example of that. I love the old Everclear, I can't listen to this garbage.

This song kinda sucks from a musical standpoint, but the message is spot on, if a bit ham fisted.
Jesus wouldn't have given a fuck about rich people getting taxed, off shore drilling, tax breaks for CEO's, etc.

Alexaikis needs to stop making music, he's lost his guru. Saw him in Vegas and he f**ked up 2 of Everclears most popular songs, STOPPING the band and starting them over. Old Everclear had something, this doesn't. Artists that can't impact listeners with their MUSIC try to find new ways to get listeners with eyebrow raising track titles. This song is an example of that. I love the old Everclear, I can't listen to this garbage.

This meant a lot to them obviously because they released it. Not all music requires points but this is a political song so it's controversial. I was just sayin I agree with the points in this song. This last president inspired people to write a lot of "I don't agree with the way things are being ran" songs. He wasn't the only president that did that but he was very controversial. So a lot of songs like this, where someone spoke their political mind, were made.
