Sometimes the references/symbolism/imagery in this show is "touched by a southbound bus" obvious, but at times such as this it is brilliantly subtle!! :)

I just realized...the shows producers and some actors were/are true Christian believers. But the show was commercial so they could not preach Christianity. But in each showw there was some Bible passages and hints about it. Now these two final episodes we get to see Jesus. Zach is Jesus! What was Jesus occupation when He walked on Earth...Carpenter! Zach here is fixing stuff like carpenter and so on...what a nice hint! The end scene of course reveals it all..Awesome!

@tmwalkerm Yes and in Christian faith God is The Father, The Son (Jesus) and The Holy Ghost. So we can say Jesus is God. He is 100% man and 100% God. Christian doctrine of trinity. So Zach is Jesus is God.

@tmwalkerm he is representative of Jesus.. they rarely referenced the Son by name in the show.. but in many episodes in particular the last it was very much so.. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost.. the Trinity.. we believe that they are of the same and of each other..but, I do believe in this episode it is clear this was Christ. regardless the message of He taking those babies home Himself, of giving that test to Monica (will you visit ME in jail) so powerful.

Which person was Jesus in this episode?

the actor who played jesus in real life was arrested for having sex with a minor who was related to him through marriage. He played a great part but once i read that about him I don't look at this last show like I used to. It was an amazing finale dont get me wrong but I just wish I never "GOOGLED" the actor's name.
