( us and other neighbors ), had no idea he sufferred from depression and feel very bad to say the least that maybe we could've done something. .talking to him, visiting him, helping him.. etc. but we had no idea.. until it was too late. Please ppl. get to know your neighbor.s. someone might need help, and even visiting and letting them know you care could save a life.

As far as work goes, you'll need to have medical experience in order to work for hospice. Once your in though...your in.

I think the 'alone' in this circumstance is in the fact that no one cared about him in death. He died long before his body gave out. Can you imagine the chaos going on inside his mind that turned his apartment into hell? Everything he owned became nothing more than garbage the cleaners threw out, then after they emptied and disinfected the place, it was like the owner never existed at all. That's the definition of oblivion. To disappear without a trace. Sad.
