Wow! There is just one word...and I do mean one word that best describes this beautiful Wes Montgomery version of this tune and the awesome weather montage...INCREDIBLE!!!
Why is youtube sticking on adverts everywhere!?! It's not like they need any more money - but it's because they can! I mean there are no other decent video channels anyway, the monopolizing barstools! But the the annoyance of waiting 5 seconds is worth it for the Getz goodness!
What beautiful photography to accompany such incredible music. People say they see the beauty in everyday things. But for the trees there is a forest.
These ARE great images. Could you tell us a little more about them. Who did them, or where did you get them? Any details would be appreciated. They really are stunning, just like the music.
Leave it to Stan Getz, the ultimate lyrcicist of the saxophone, to take my favorite ballad to another level. I heard Arthur Fiedler on tv tonight say that when Getz came to play with the Pops, he locked his "electric eyes" on Fiedler and said, "I have never played a single note that I didn't believe in." I don't doubt him.
I also wish the great Lou Rawls version from his "Silk and Soul" album were on YouTube.
@aileyyyy Tb não duvidaria de Fiedler. Getz toca com a alma e me provoca tamanha emoção que tenho vontade de ajoelhar-me e agradecer a Deus a existência da MÚSICA na TERRA - esse alimento imprescindível a nossa alma. Obrigada pela dica de Lou Rawls.
Dig it.

A maioria das imagens são do Brasil - norte a Sul - e enviadas por amigos. São de meu arquivo pessoal. Outras foram colhidas na internet.
