He's just amazing! I am very passionate about the Violin, and I have loved this man for ever. I don't play violin but I would love to be able to play half as good as him. God Bless him and gives him many years to live. I was introduced to music since I was very young in boarding school, and I learned to appreciate many different kind of music, and instruments. I am a firmer believer in a school program that for just one hr every wk can expouse children to different kind of music, starting at PK.

I've played the violin my whole life and watched a lot of great violinists perform. I've never seen anyone as comfortable with the instrument as Perlman. He's the greatest violinist of our time.
