  • Level IMPOSIBBRU o.o

  • Perlman is best, Perlman is best !!!!!!!

  • Perlman at his prime! I gotta love his relaxed and playful expressions...

  • I love the face he makes at :26. xD

  • I'd love to see David Garret playing Bazzini

  • his violin's sound are the sweetest and most amazing ones ever! What's the name of that technique where the violin sounds as if there were three violins in one?

  • Bazzini said "Let's make a tune nobody will be able to play". And then Itzhak came along.

  • itzhak perlman is so inspiring i love watching him play. his music is so moving!

  • He plays this piece with so much passion! After just watching him play the piece I couldn't help smile because of how happy he seems doing what he loves.

  • Incredible

  • straordinario..

  • Awesomeness!

  • maestrísimo!!!!

  • prick

  • Simply AMAZING!

  • He's just amazing! I am very passionate about the Violin, and I have loved this man for ever. I don't play violin but I would love to be able to play half as good as him. God Bless him and gives him many years to live. I was introduced to music since I was very young in boarding school, and I learned to appreciate many different kind of music, and instruments. I am a firmer believer in a school program that for just one hr every wk can expouse children to different kind of music, starting at PK.

  • Have you ever heard the word "fluidity"? hahaha

It's just incredible, it makes me feel like I can play it with one hand. He makes it looks so damn easy!

  • The giant with his small small violn <3

  • OMG!!!! Perfect!!!!!!!!!

  • What happens at 2:24, because the audience seems to laugh...

  • @manneydassucktdoch He messes up

  • @manneydassucktdoch That was no doubt the audience with many professionals in it. They laugh after Perlman

doing very specific trick jumping from f# on E string to the same note on G. Best wishes.

  • OK, i'm going to go ahead and ask;

is that his mum playing the piano?

  • Amazing.... I just wish the audio was caught up with the video.

  • @rviolinfiddle55

it was for like the first few seconds if u look carefully lol

  • I've played the violin my whole life and watched a lot of great violinists perform. I've never seen anyone as comfortable with the instrument as Perlman. He's the greatest violinist of our time.

  • wait is it written that he play those f's in on three strings like that or is he just challenging himself? thats quite amazing

  • I think the piece is hard like hell

but he played like one of morning exercise that when he woke up and took violin, practising in the morning.

  • Why does he wear his glasses if he can do it with his eyes closed?

  • Last night I saw him play this 'tour de force'. He is absolutely superb, and a very nice person. Bravo, Maestro.

  • Amazing bow technique and control! :)

Truly blessed hands/arms. Is my dream to play this good ^_^

  • he's totally sickipoo

  • I have to agree with others when they say he has big hands. lol.

One would think that it would be more difficult to be so good with large

hands but he plays beautifully. :B

  • Notable, simplemente BUENÍSIMO, vale la pena ir a verlo a Santiago este mes

  • man he is that good that he is even playing with his eyes shut must know the piece very well

  • Only three thumb downs..... they must be viola players. Yes violins get everything, but without us viola players.....there would be no fat on the meat! Best fucking Violin player ever!!! AMAZING!!!!

  • He makes it look so easy. he is so relaxed

  • I CANNOT believe that I'm going to see him play on Tuesday! It's gonna be one of the best time in my life! :)))

  • Такое впечатление, будто у него не смычок, а волшебная палочка! Фантастика, ощущение невесомости.

  • Not only incredibly talented but charming to boot!

  • hes really good! he makes playing violin look so effortless and easy.

  • @bunnylvr815 Yes he makes it effortless and easy for us...but then, how about that drop of sweat forming 2:00-2:10 above his right eyebrow and him drying off hidden sweat with a handkerchief at the end? What a great effort and intense concentration on his part during this wonderful performance.

  • One of tenth billion can play like that. Let's pray for his long life.

  • hahahahahahaha i would die on violin hero with this guy :P

  • Wow! That was incredible!!! I'd like to know how many notes he just played!

  • very cool!!! master perlman!!!!!!!

  • Como toca el guacho!!! El mejor violinista!

  • There's quite a future for him.

  • amazing

  • GENIOUS!!!!!!!!!

  • its just rediculous how easy he makes it look when he plays this

  • That´s why it's very easy,

    just kidding!, I'm enjoying.

  • @VanallenGuitar shut up

  • @VanallenGuitar Exactly! There are just those individuals.....like Horowitz too.. its as if the instruments are merely an extension of themselves and all they have to do is think it.

  • i never tire of perlman

  • you are INCRREDIBlE!!! Keep it up!

  • jezz this is soo funny hahahhahahaha look at his face he looks like that he is going to shit out !!!!

  • its simple is the best of all he is a master

  • he looks like he is in heaven when he is playing that violin!!!

  • omg he's the greatest!! look at him he enjoys playing so much i can almost feel i'm there! love him

  • stradivari soil, what a piecemaster of shining beaty

  • he's.... not.... human (O_o) he must be a god in human form -- incredible to behold.

  • Honestly, this man is unique!!!!

  • Imbatível, o melhor de todos os tempos, nem Paganini consegue tanto brilho ao tocar.

  • "I m so great,i can perform it with my eyes close"

  • This makes me feel so inadequate.

  • Would have been nice to see his left hand during the left-hand pizzicato bit.

    Still freaking amazing.

  • Wow.

  • its really sad that he is growing old and the god of violin is soon gone (sorry for pplz who feel offended about this)

I GIVE MY RESPCTS FOREVER TO ITZHAK PERLMAN

  • he's 64, not exactly that old.

  • Itzhak is the god of violin!

  • AMAZING!! :D i wish i could play like this to :<

  • h...o...w... i just wow...absolutely gorgeous! i play the violin and have been playing going on 8yrs. and i STILL haven't been able to figure out how to bounce the bow like that. UNBELIEVABLY AMAZING!!

  • @LOTRfreak1024

It is really easy. Just close your eyes and let music pour from inside. Allow your hand to speak to bow and violin. :D

  • @krruger79 It's not that simple. The closing the eyes method is for intonation.

  • @MaruOhashi

You did not understand my clues. It is simply impossible to play like him except himself lol. I just make a remark that is better to enjoy Perlman's playing rather than to try to handle with this piece on your own.

  • It's so effortless for him! Perlman is raw inspiration and talent. Bravissimo!

  • if u are a big fan of his come to my my fansite myspace my used name is fields0407

  • if he is this good just imagine his teacher..!!!

even tho he is so good god gave him that horrible disease.. polio

  • His skill is absolutely nuts!!!!! Is he even human????

  • I don't play the violin so plz forgive my ignorance. How is he making that sound? Does he bounce the bow against the strings?

  • @i3ish Its a richoche of the bow (i.e. a controlled bounce) Extrememly difficult to "control" at this pace. Like someone said previously, "Perlman is a Beast!"

  • This is the first time I've seen or heard this violinist, but wow! He is awesome!

  • Check him out further. He's actually probably the most famous violinist in the world haha. =P Not the most technically precise ever, but plays with a lot of personality and passion. My favorite for sure!

  • This is amazing..but has anyone noticed that throughout the whole piece it looks as if he wants to burst out laughing..I guess its the effect of the jovial piece (or maybe he's just concentrating lol)..its as if he got some kinda private joke...I love this guy he plays with his heart as if he is pouring his soul into everything he plays :)

  • don't see anything like that. looks rather like one of those russian shows that he did without much enthusiasm. of course he is flawless but this isn't the rendition that I like the most.

  • Ah well each to his/her own interpretation but I really do like Perlman he plays with a lot of passion my favourite piece by him is: "Itzhak Perlman plays Sarasate / Zigeunerweisen" but I swear it looked like he was suppressing a laugh or something maybe I'm just seeing things XD

  • He is fantastic!! and syempre the pianist as well!

  • Comment removed

  • omg hes so good how can he play like that is just inpossible!!!XD

  • Amazing ! thanks

  • Of all the 30+ years I've listened to him, whether live/recordings/videos, I still have this BIG smile on my face every single time........amazing.

  • Halfway through, I realized that my jaw had in fact dropped.

  • this must be like twinkle twinkle little star to him

  • THANKS!!!

  • He does not mess up at 2:48. He impressively plays the octaves in reverse haha

  • Which piece is that? Could anybody tell me via direct response? Thanks!!

  • Dance of the goblins

  • The Dance of the Goblins

  • Couldn't play this at 1/10 of this speed in my dreams..

  • . . . it looks so easy . . .

  • yes, perlman makes it 'look' very easy but it's not hehehe (the violin looks SO small in his hands!)

  • Is this piece The Goblin's Rondo?

  • yes it is

  • Going to see him perform tomorrow!

  • oh, two fingers trill, soo hard !

  • What's crazier is that he had it memorized! Sure I have a lot of sheet music in my head but that was pretty complicated.

  • A very nice Virtuoso piece!

  • Increible!!!

  • That is crazy. I will keep on commenting on this until I can get over this. He is UNBELIEVABLE!! The best. The best.

  • one of the best, man :D
