his violin's sound are the sweetest and most amazing ones ever! What's the name of that technique where the violin sounds as if there were three violins in one?
He plays this piece with so much passion! After just watching him play the piece I couldn't help smile because of how happy he seems doing what he loves.
He's just amazing! I am very passionate about the Violin, and I have loved this man for ever. I don't play violin but I would love to be able to play half as good as him. God Bless him and gives him many years to live. I was introduced to music since I was very young in boarding school, and I learned to appreciate many different kind of music, and instruments. I am a firmer believer in a school program that for just one hr every wk can expouse children to different kind of music, starting at PK.
I've played the violin my whole life and watched a lot of great violinists perform. I've never seen anyone as comfortable with the instrument as Perlman. He's the greatest violinist of our time.
@PronLuv3r69Biznitch thank you very much for having my back on the video of billie jean.as you said i had no initiative to insult micheal jakcson whatsoever,i eas merly stating an opinion of my mind.you are very loyal to me. once agian,my regards, CSAJBFF.
Perlman is the best violinist of the all time! I watched him in Brazil in the last month and it was the best experience of my life!! He's simply fantastic!!!!
Only three thumb downs..... they must be viola players. Yes violins get everything, but without us viola players.....there would be no fat on the meat! Best fucking Violin player ever!!! AMAZING!!!!
@bunnylvr815 Yes he makes it effortless and easy for us...but then, how about that drop of sweat forming 2:00-2:10 above his right eyebrow and him drying off hidden sweat with a handkerchief at the end? What a great effort and intense concentration on his part during this wonderful performance.
@VanallenGuitar Exactly! There are just those individuals.....like Horowitz too.. its as if the instruments are merely an extension of themselves and all they have to do is think it.
h...o...w... i just wow...absolutely gorgeous! i play the violin and have been playing going on 8yrs. and i STILL haven't been able to figure out how to bounce the bow like that. UNBELIEVABLY AMAZING!!
You did not understand my clues. It is simply impossible to play like him except himself lol. I just make a remark that is better to enjoy Perlman's playing rather than to try to handle with this piece on your own.
@i3ish Its a richoche of the bow (i.e. a controlled bounce) Extrememly difficult to "control" at this pace. Like someone said previously, "Perlman is a Beast!"
Check him out further. He's actually probably the most famous violinist in the world haha. =P Not the most technically precise ever, but plays with a lot of personality and passion. My favorite for sure!
This is amazing..but has anyone noticed that throughout the whole piece it looks as if he wants to burst out laughing..I guess its the effect of the jovial piece (or maybe he's just concentrating lol)..its as if he got some kinda private joke...I love this guy he plays with his heart as if he is pouring his soul into everything he plays :)
don't see anything like that. looks rather like one of those russian shows that he did without much enthusiasm. of course he is flawless but this isn't the rendition that I like the most.
Ah well each to his/her own interpretation but I really do like Perlman he plays with a lot of passion my favourite piece by him is: "Itzhak Perlman plays Sarasate / Zigeunerweisen" but I swear it looked like he was suppressing a laugh or something maybe I'm just seeing things XD

Thaks for your answer. But I read in another video of this piece, that it's not a mistake.
Quote of Arsolon618:
'its not a mistake, its an inverse position. he did it on purpose to show how PIMP he is'
manneydassucktdoch 9 months ago
@manneydassucktdoch That was no doubt the audience with many professionals in it. They laugh after Perlman
doing very specific trick jumping from f# on E string to the same note on G. Best wishes.
