Have to agree that Resident evil isn't what it used to be. Hell, games aren't what they used to be! Gaming used to be hard, now everone can complete almost any game coming out... The difficulty of most games is dumbed down to rediculous or even retarted.Games like the first 3 take time, are well thought out, suck you into a great story, scare the hell out of you and so on... From the looks of this video this is just point and shoot or as other would call it: A quick moneymaker. Very sad indeed!
I like the look of the game (overall enviroment) it gives off a feeling almost like your back in the city.
The zombies look good as well as the other Spec ops team, although the A.I. will probably play like shit, by now it should be expected.
I certain like the new direction RE is going, it's taking a break from "infected people" (RE: 4 -5) and going back to zombies which is always great, also we get to visit Raccoon City again, but this time it's from a different prespective.

@sonwukong666 A lot of really important main events happened in raccoon city.It seems in a game like this that is in an alternate/untold scenario,it would be best to take place where a large chunk of omportant action happened. The numbered main title games change locale,this is just a little side experiment game.
I must be the only one tired of playing an RE game set in Raccoon City. I mean it's not like we haven't seen this place six times. Doesn't Umbrella have like laboratories over the world, I mean I get playing to fans but this really doesn't look like you're playing to your typical fans so you don't need to use Raccoon City and you're fans might like to see another Umbrella facility. You'd think playing as UCSS would be for something unique, not Outbreak 3.
RE:5 should have been more like this with walking and shooting at the same time but I guess it made some moments more intense that way :P I'm probably gonna get this at launch and for sure getting RE:6 :D hopefully they do couch co-op cuz I don't go online very often.
This game will be a very good zombie shooter but not a good RE game because now the RE series is turning into a zombie action shooter rather than the older RE games wich were zombie survivals.

Slant 6 also developed SOCOM Confrontation; and from the looks of it, OP RC is running the same engine (or a very similar mechanic). Don't feel bad for me. I know what I like and what I don't. You want to play another generic shooter set in the RE universe, good for you. I'll pass.

@KhaozMaker94 I like the new camera angle and everything that they've done. My ONLY problem with 4 and 5 is that the enemies weren't really zombies, but I still enjoyed both and still play them. I can't wait for Operation Raccoon City and Resident Evil 6. Both look like great games.

@sonwukong666 A lot of really important main events happened in raccoon city.It seems in a game like this that is in an alternate/untold scenario,it would be best to take place where a large chunk of omportant action happened. The numbered main title games change locale,this is just a little side experiment game.

I must be the only one tired of playing an RE game set in Raccoon City. I mean it's not like we haven't seen this place six times. Doesn't Umbrella have like laboratories over the world, I mean I get playing to fans but this really doesn't look like you're playing to your typical fans so you don't need to use Raccoon City and you're fans might like to see another Umbrella facility. You'd think playing as UCSS would be for something unique, not Outbreak 3.

RE:5 should have been more like this with walking and shooting at the same time but I guess it made some moments more intense that way :P I'm probably gonna get this at launch and for sure getting RE:6 :D hopefully they do couch co-op cuz I don't go online very often.

people complain to much about this game, 4 and 5. Look if you want classic gameplay, there's the classics! Re1 to 3. But oh if all resident evil games would had been the same, all would be like aaa shit RE never changes! always the same! stupid camera angles, cmon its 2012! why does resident evil is like the first 3 and stuff. People that liked the earlier Resident Evil games liked them for what they WERE and they have no reason to "shut up" about their opinion anymore than you do. Call of Duty is an FPS, a COMPETITIVE FPS. This is Developed By Slant Six Games, Not Capcom. This is a Spin-off Title. Now, I honestly feel bad for you, This game looks great and this is coming from a girl that likes Resident Evil for the world and characters it has, and this does not disappoint in the slightest.

@BajiBunny Slant 6 is the developer, but CAPCOM still owns the franchise. Slant 6 also developed SOCOM Confrontation; and from the looks of it, OP RC is running the same engine (or a very similar mechanic). Don't feel bad for me. I know what I like and what I don't. That's the great thing about the world. People get to have these silly little things called opinions, that sometimes vary. You want to play another generic shooter set in the RE universe, good for you. I'll pass.

@KhaozMaker94 (cont) The reason people "complain" as you say, is because some gamers don't want every title they love to become the same game from franchise to franchise. When I play Resident Evil, I want to be playing Resident Evil; not SOCOM and not COD. Survival horror games are now a thing of the past thanks to the mediorche action-shooter trend.
Some people aren't as content with bending over and letting CAPCOM stick whatever they want up their asses as you seem to be.

@KhaozMaker94 Real RE players? We're all real RE players or atleast fans of the series. You're straying from the fact that just because it has "Resident Evil" in the title it somehow frees it from criticsim.
I honestly hope that the Nemesis just doesn't stand there like some terribly programed A.I. avatar and just shoots at you as you chip away at his HP. That's not how I remember "The Nemesis"-- he better chase us down and clobber our faces whilst tentacle raping our faces.

@KhaozMaker94 I like the new camera angle and everything that they've done. My ONLY problem with 4 and 5 is that the enemies weren't really zombies, but I still enjoyed both and still play them. I can't wait for Operation Raccoon City and Resident Evil 6. Both look like great games.

@KhaozMaker94 Your logic is horribly flawed...especially using the year 2012 as an excuse to validate or make change "ok". Resident evil 4 and 5 were Gears rip offs plain an simple...and they ruined the story horribly. They even killed Wesker in the shittiest way possible. The atmsophere, presentation, and pacing is what made the old RE great. Resident Evil has been ruined since RE4, and RE6 appears to continue the trend. Dead Space did what Capcom couldn't do.
