i tried out this tutorial its nice, i may not followed it accurately but it did com out alright..i just want to try to make my own pencil brushes to make pencils drawins for digital work..
I did everything it said- I even checked all of my settings- like opacity on pen pressure, and made sure that nothing was on that didn't need to on, etc, but it doesn't go from dark to light. I do vary in the pressure I use, but nothing happens.
I am using Photoshop CS5 and i have followed this tutorial perfectly until i start using it. my brush doesn't start from light then gets darker its just on colour. why is this? how can i make it like your brush when it goes from light to dark?
@architectus777 I do have a tablet, my laptop is a tablet. search it up HP Pavilion TX2500z i was using my tablet when i was creating this but it wasn't working :/
@lewisjj01 You do know photoshop, among with other programs such as painter, sai and so only support a FEW tablets right? in there we have wacom. and i doubt the HP pavilion you have is supported by your photoshop version.
Thanks for the tutorial, The brush that I made from watching the video turned out real nice! Thanks for sharing, God bless you for that! Peace-NickZ. :)
Well i have 7 and it work to a point but not really. but i thank you for the vid, i learned something and i think if i keep playing with it i can get more brushs from it.
dude you go around yourselfs... you aint stedy on what your doing.. i cant follow you... this tutorial aint clean man... i neew a brush like this so would actually appreciate you going over this again in a much slower tempo and without all the oh no lets do that again and stuff... sry man i didnt manage this even though its probably a pretty easy task and it pisses me of cuz now iv waisted time on it. sorry man 2* for the effort...
Because I don't know what Photoshop you're using I can't say for sure.
Just go to help in Photoshop and type in brush presets. It will tell you where it is. You can do that for anything you are looking for. Help is there to be used.
Im with you all the way up until 5:21..How did you open brush presets cause I cant find it. I can find New brush presets and presets manager but not that.

When you use a pencil brush, you never set your color to 100% black. Am I correct?
