  • @Pinopa I didn't post it and I'm still alive. Btw that was 3 months ago when I saw that same comment. Trust me no comment is gonna kill u

  • mierda

  • AS A MECHANIC , I HAVE HAD A LOT OF BEARING EXPERIENCE , THOSE SPHERICAL BEARINGS , OR THE BALL THAT THE BLADE GETS IT'S UP DOWN MOTION , SEIZE UP REALLY FAST WHEN WET . THEIR NOT GENERALLY USED FOR THIS TYPE OF LOAD .

  • @shanepb1994 Good thing pilots don't do the mechanical work lol. You could go up and down, and do pretty little circles with this, but no lateral movement.

  • I don't think this model actually works. You've obviously controlled pitch for use with the collective, but I don't think it would work with the cyclic. Your swash plate can't swivel because of the control rods pivoting on only on axis on each end, and at 90 degrees to each other. Fancy and impressive looking, just don't think it would work.

  • @machiavelli850 true...where is cylic movement. i didnt flew any heli without cyclic lol

  • Great job.

Blade pitching wasn't modeled though right?

(like up and down motion of blades)

    im new

  • % stars lol.dun ya mean 5 stars?i gave 5 stars too.great vid,i understood more now.

  • Oops... Sorry the time I left to answer your question... I forgot to check my messages related to youtube.

I used AutoCAD only of modeling, and after that I exported the parts (3DS format) to 3D Studio Max and build an (very) simple kinematics for the blades. At that time was the only thing I knew using 3D Studio Max... Now we have more realistic videos avaliable, check the video "AS-350 Blade Flapping with Starflex (Flappeggio con sistema Starflex)", (the user is @LokiTreddi).

    Best regards,

  • Thanks!! Now chech this other video:

Title: "AS-350 Blade Flapping with Starflex (Flappeggio con sistema Starflex)"

This is the simulation of a rotor that a have seen!!! This was made using Softimage XSI.

@LokiTreddi did somenthig I ever tried using 3D Sutdio Max and Kinematics solutions!!

    Best regards,

    Márcio

  • its not a good one... failure...

  • Very Good. Thanks

  • Good Clip..
