@TaiMaiSht Well since didnt record the HUD you cant see my speed. In this game the start off is used in kilometers per hour, most of the high speed turns im going 140-150 kph is like roughly 75-90 or so...the sharper turns i take a bit higher than 100kph, just like in the anime. which is 60mph.

@orimabu The trueno is great in low gear and its almost 2/3rd's the weight of a skyline, tuned right and put on a diet of carbon fiber body pieces it would beat alot of heavier cars off the line. The Skyline is a great car but its a real fatty on weight. its around 1500kg stock. whereas the Trueno Stock is 1000kg, get rid of the unneeded body fat and throw on a carbon fiber hood and you have a car that turns out at 800kg.

Did you not see the quotation marks. It's what every person in the anime series said about the car before they raced it. I wasn't saying that. Of course I know the 86 is a monster, but it won't outrun every car. The car has it's limits as far as tuning. I think I have seen one with close to 300 hp with a lot of weight reduction and stuff.

If course the 86 is fast. That was a common quote from the characters in the series that underestimated it. Otherwise, there wouldn't have been a reason to use quotation marks for the own words from my mouth. But yes you're right it shouldn't be underestimated, but the 86 does have it's limit. I wouldn't give anymore than 340-350 hp.

Y'know, in reality there is no way the '86 could beat a Nür in an uphill battle. The Nür comes standard with two large extremely efficient turbos, a speedo which reads up to 300 km/h and the engine is based on an N1. Downhill, it may be a different story, naturally.

hey i got this game like 2 weeks ago... i have a question... does updating the car parts really matter??? if my car is updated with everything to max, will it give me a better chance of winning??? So far i beat everybody except everyone above 8 stars... ne suggestions??? at first i was using Evo Viii now i m using AE86, but still getting my ass whooped

Updating the parts makes a huge difference! This video was done just with cosmetics added on which dont do anything....but after i did this video and had enough money i maxed the car out, and i got a new engine which revs to 11k where as this 7.5k..anything you add makes a difference..the car is lighter now too so i can turn smoother...UPGRADE AND DO EVERYTHING EQUALLY..it gets difficult managing max engine and no suspension lol. hope this helps...ill be updating an initial d video soon

when it comes down to upgrading the last 2 in the engine slots, one is turbo, the other is the 11k engine. Just look at the picture and you'll be able to tell. But be carefull once you buy one u can t go back.

@monjardin06 I don't know about the ps3 version but the arcade version, comestic do make a huge difference. With my fc3, if you add the gt spoiler you lose top speed and if you take away the aero mirrors you also lose top speed. And the rims matter too. My friend said something like this base on his experiments; black is for dry, bronze for wet, etc.

@monjardin06 yeah you got that right i was drifting with my ae86 and for some reason it was hard to drift the car then i turned a sharp corner and my car just failed cause of to much under steer and i found out that i never added any suspension which pissed me off the most lol
