These two were the only couple I really liked who had a whole lot of chemistry cause at one point I thought they were more then just partners on the dance floor and if they were more then just that I wouldn't be mad cause they were hot together

She's use to learning dance routines and she knows how to move.I know people said the same thing with mya but I was less aware of her dancing skills. I knew her as a singer and she didnt do as much dancing as nicole. I'm not against her, but it was a no brainer that she would do well.
@lyric010501 I agree with you. I like Nicole very much and I enjoyed watching her and Derek but it was almost the Derek and Nicole show. Nicole was very much an accomplished dancer already. She did seem to have an unfair advantage. When I think of all the hate Mya got I cringe with this season. Mya had natural rhythm but she was not as accomplished as Nicole was. Mya should have won her season and she got so much unfair flack...but look at Nicole.

Hey Everyone: Dmitry and Derek won't be on season 10. They both tweeted that they wouldn't be on the show. Dmitry said that DWTS tried to get him on, but there wasn't a match for him with the female stars. Derek didn't say why he wasn't doing the show. I don't know what's going on, but there goes my two favorite pro's!

Hey Everyone did you hear that Samantha Harrison is leaving DWTS? I was happy to hear that I never did like her. Supposedly she left the show, but I wonder if DWTS gave her a chance to leave on her own instead of them firing her. I was wondering the same thing. I know they said she left but I wouldnt be surprised if they fire her.I was indifferent to her but it seemed like alot of people didnt care for her. Her leaving/firing my have to do with the fact there there trying to revamp the show. It didnt do so well last season. i heard they are lowering the number of couples and doing some more changes. I think the problem was with the cast and lack of chemistry overall with the pros & stars.
I agree with you. Last season was the first time that I didn't like how the stars acted with each other. There was a lot of cattiness and jealously. And there were too many stars. Even some of the pro's were catty and jealous. I hope that the DWTS producers talk to the pro's and tell them to leave their professional jealousy at the door. I think that some of the pro's are really ready to move on, because they have reached some fame from the show. It was better when they were new.

I think you mean season 8 was the best. That's the season that Kim and Derek were on, and I agree that was one of my favorite seasons too. Season 9 was with team Dmya and all the drama. I can't believe that season 10 is coming in March. I saw Extra last night and they were saying a few of the names being tossed out to replace Samantha are Paula Abdual, Nancy O'dell, Kelly Osbourne and Marie Osmond. I think that Nancy would be the best choice out of that bunch then Paula.

Happy New Year Everyone!!! I don't know if Derek and Shannon are officially back together, but I would guess that they're friends with benefits. Derek is in Utah now and Shannon is still in NY. If they were back together I'm sure they would be spending New years together. Let's face it that is the holiday that couples like to be together on. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!! I'm extremly proud of team DMYA they may not have won the trophy, but they were the winners in my book. There were 5 perfect 10 dances this season and Mya and Dmitry had 4 of them!!!
derek is incredible as a dancer. I missed him last night in the finals. the freestyle dances were not that good in my opinion. compared to past years they were a let down to me. I think dimitry should have listen to mya's idea for the freestyle. she was concerned it would be too safe and something everyone has seen before, and thats exactly what the judges said after the dance. donny's was the best imo. I dont know who is going to win now. people are saying it should be kelly.
dont get me wrong i still think he is a talented dancer,but to say that to either be nice or cause of cameras was proof to me that he is not mature enough to handle press.kim's no better. seems to throw a fit if she doesnt get her way,irritating.now she's hiding.just my opinion,both lost a lot of cool points in my book..

I do believe they have conflicting schedules. everytime I go to lilkimzone kim's in a different place. miami, croatia, some island. she was even in russia! I know she hasnt spent much time in la so i'm sure that has something to do with it.

@wildchild1164 What's the question? I hope people don't think I'm hating on nicole. I know hip hop is different from ballroom, but I still think her dancing background is an advantage. She's use to learning dance routines and she knows how to move.I know people said the same thing with mya but I was less aware of her dancing skills. I knew her as a singer and she didnt do as much dancing as nicole. I'm not against her, but it was a no brainer that she would do well.

@lyric010501 I agree with you. I like Nicole very much and I enjoyed watching her and Derek but it was almost the Derek and Nicole show. Nicole was very much an accomplished dancer already. She did seem to have an unfair advantage. When I think of all the hate Mya got I cringe with this season. Mya had natural rhythm but she was not as accomplished as Nicole was. Mya should have won her season and she got so much unfair flack...but look at Nicole.

I'm a little upset that his dancing with nicole. I know she's not a ballroom dancer but she is a really good dancer,. and derek's the best. It's like they paired the best with the best.

Hey Everyone: Dmitry and Derek won't be on season 10. They both tweeted that they wouldn't be on the show. Dmitry said that DWTS tried to get him on, but there wasn't a match for him with the female stars. Derek didn't say why he wasn't doing the show. I don't know what's going on, but there goes my two favorite pro's!

At first I thought he meant he wasnt doing the show but then he tweeted to reread the tweet. he basically said he wouldn't not do the show. i don't know why he couldn't just say yeah I'm doing the show instead of wording it funny. I dont see paula doing it, but nancy or maria would be good. I also heard sabrina's name being toss in there. I just want them to hurry up and announce the stars. i heard the olympic swimmer greg lou? something wants to be on the show. mario lopaz actually played him in a movie. i hope derek or mark make it to the finals this time. they always do something exciting and different. the freestyles last season were not that good,.

Hey Everyone did you hear that Samantha Harrison is leaving DWTS? I was happy to hear that I never did like her. Supposedly she left the show, but I wonder if DWTS gave her a chance to leave on her own instead of them firing her. I wonder who will take her place, and if we will have to wait until season 10 to find out. Sabrina was working online for DWTS they might offer it to her, although they might think she is too young. Any thoughts?

I was wondering the same thing. I know they said she left but I wouldnt be surprised if they fire her.I was indifferent to her but it seemed like alot of people didnt care for her. Her leaving/firing my have to do with the fact there there trying to revamp the show. It didnt do so well last season. i heard they are lowering the number of couples and doing some more changes. I think the problem was with the cast and lack of chemistry overall with the pros & stars.

I agree with you. Last season was the first time that I didn't like how the stars acted with each other. There was a lot of cattiness and jealously. And there were too many stars. Even some of the pro's were catty and jealous. I hope that the DWTS producers talk to the pro's and tell them to leave their professional jealousy at the door. I think that some of the pro's are really ready to move on, because they have reached some fame from the show. It was better when they were new.

i didnt get a sense of "togatheness" either. season 8 was the best that i've watch.there was something special about that season & the relationships. kim/derek, mark/ shawn, even chelsie/ty. i'm curious to see who will be on this season. i agree that some of the pros are ready to do other things,. and theres diff some backstage stuff we dont know about.i'm pretty sure things were not cordial between maks&karina.he was talking about her on blogs & jo was making comments about mya

I think you mean season 8 was the best. That's the season that Kim and Derek were on, and I agree that was one of my favorite seasons too. Season 9 was with team Dmya and all the drama. I can't believe that season 10 is coming in March. I saw Extra last night and they were saying a few of the names being tossed out to replace Samantha are Paula Abdual, Nancy O'dell, Kelly Osbourne and Marie Osmond. I think that Nancy would be the best choice out of that bunch then Paula.

Happy New Year Everyone!!! I don't know if Derek and Shannon are officially back together, but I would guess that they're friends with benefits. Derek is in Utah now and Shannon is still in NY. If they were back together I'm sure they would be spending New years together. Let's face it that is the holiday that couples like to be together on. Oh well I just hope that Kim is doing great and maybe found someone too! She sure deserves it.

Happy Holidays Everyone! Did anyone see the picture that Joanna did for Peta? She posed nude with a crucifix covering the essitianls. The Catholic Church was out raged. Joanna tried to justify it by saying that it was for a good cause, and that she was a good Catholic girl herself. Please, she is so disrespectful. derek is incredible as a dancer. I missed him last night in the finals. the freestyle dances were not that good in my opinion. compared to past years they were a let down to me. I think dimitry should have listen to mya's idea for the freestyle. she was concerned it would be too safe and something everyone has seen before, and thats exactly what the judges said after the dance. donny's was the best imo. I dont know who is going to win now. people are saying it should be kelly.

I go back and forth but one theory is that they had a sexual encounter. derek acted weired after and kim didnt appreciate it. something along those lines or maybe kim is the fake one and didnt talk to derek afterwards. i think something sexual happend. after watching them togather i knew him and shannon were not going to last much longer and they didnt.

I thought Joanna would be the one leaving. Donny and Kelly both have a large fan base. Mya had such a lead with points I didn't think that she would be in danger. But we all better vote like crazy for Mya and Dmitry next Monday. I would die if she lost to Kelly or Donny, but especially Kelly. This isn't a popularity contest it's a dance competion. Mya is clearly the best dancer!

that's kinda messed up that Derek and Joanna got the encore dance, I would have rather seen Mya and Dimtry do the Quickstep again. I only voted for Derek once because he is a great choreographer and even though Joanna sucks I couldn't just let him go out like that lol...as for D&J watching Mya's tapes? I don't feel like Joanna can even compare herself to a wonderful dancer like Mya!

i think mya ending up with the highest score &then joanna. I think derek is a great dancer but i'm not impressed with joanna at all. i think the judges constantly give her good scores for no reason. I wish she would go home but i wouldnt be surprised if she made it to the finals. I'm voting for aaron. i like mya i just feel like she has plenty of votes. aaron needs them. it's going to be him and kelly in the bottom two. i'll be very surprised if this isn't the case.

I do believe they have conflicting schedules. everytime I go to lilkimzone kim's in a different place. miami, croatia, some island. she was even in russia! I know she hasnt spent much time in la so i'm sure that has something to do with it.

I do believe that shannon didnt like the kind of attention that derek/kim's partnership garnered. people noticed the chemistry and wanted to see more of that chemistry. based on some of derek and kims interactions I kinda thought him and shannon would be breaking up. I'm not saying it was due to kim. I really think there just in two different places in there lives right now, but watching kim and derek gave me the feeling it wouldnt last. I hope that came out right.

Thats' what I was thinking. it's easy to come up with a bs or "pr" answer. no biggie, but I dont get the not answering. unless they did do or plan on doing a song with kim and were told to keep it underwraps. sometimes management doesnt want you announcing things until a certain time. one thing i always wondered about was the michael jackson memorial. kim and derek were there but we never had anything about them even saying hi to each other, but that could just be due to the place & time.

cont. start working on new songs and go in another direction. From what I have seen of Derek and the way Kim seems I doubt that they are not speaking. They're probably both just busy with their own careers. If this friendship was fake they both are really good actors LOL! I think that their frindship was genuine. Derek may have told Kim that Shannon was jealous of their freindship. Kim did say that they would make the best lovers LOL. So maybe they're just kepping it on the down low.

When Kim and Derek did their last interview the night Kim got eliminated Karina was working for E News and she was interviewing them. Kim said that she wanted Derek and Karina to come chorograph her shows, because karina is her favorite female pro dancer. Maybe their schedules didn't permit it. Well what could of happened Kim said in this vd that Derek was coming with her to chorograph her tour and Keep teaching her dancing we know he didn't. And we all know that Shannon was not having that. So maybe Kim was a little upset about that. Or maybe they do talk from time to time and they're just friends. I don't know why they won't answer about them maybe working together again that is a relevent question. Unless their not on good terms and Derek and Mark just don't want to say anything.

I think you guys are right. something went down and it wasnt good. I have some ideas but no one will know for sure. either that or there friendship talk was bs. i dont think thats the case. as for marta i do think he's hooking up with her, but who knows how serious it is.

I agree. I just have this awful feeling that something went down between Derek and Kim and it wasn't positive. I agree about Marta as well. I believe Derek said that he and Marta was just friends in one of the vids. I don't know what is going on. I don't know if Derek and Kim parted on bad terms or what? Because it is just odd that Derek or Mark haven't answered the question whether or not they would work with Kim again. Or the fact that Derek hasn't mentioned Kim since May. :(

If derek or mark dont answer about kim soon i'm going to think somethings up or something was up and is over. derek talked about her and there friendship too much. you would think they would say something even if it's bs. sometimes silence is just silence but sometimes it speaks volumes. I just dont see why theres no answer to this question but answers to others. maybe it's nothing
