  • so david played all the instruments on the narrow way even the drums?

  • Too morose the live version is much better.

  • Sounds like the Beatles!

  • Following the path as it leads toward

    The darkness in the north

Weary strangers' faces show their sympathy

    They've seen that hope before

  • Gillmour played all the instruments ;)

Narrow way pt3 and Grantchester Meadows = Ummagumma

  • long live david gilmour!

  • For years now expect a band who can give me feelings like Pink Floyd or the Beatles or as the Soft Machine but nothing. Nothing happens.

  • There's a romantic interpretation on verse "and if you want to stay, for a little bit, rest your aching limbs, for a little bit".

  • best band of all time........

  • this song is so amazing, but yet underrated...

  • Trippy.

  • This is my relax song. ''And if you want to stay just a little bit, rest your acing limbs just a little bit''. Is like being in a dream world and have someone asking you to stay when you have to get back to the real world.

  • I went through the struggle of finally creating a youtube account just to give you a thumbs up and say I totally agree with that comment, bobcat965fm

I have a friend who just loves the beatles, and in my opinion they're overrated and they sound like hilllbillies with electronics. They aren't that good and their music isn't that much to think about. Pink Floyd is muuuch more appreciative then they were and are. Pink Floyd expiremented crazily, and it sounded great. Best band there is dude

  • Pink (Anderson) Floyd (Council) This band helped me survive my young years, the early 70's...

  • This is Pink Floyd

  • Too cool.

  • David Gilmour=Multi-Instrumentalist.

  • @SRone45 im that too. I can play guitar, bass, drums and keyboard

  • @krollaostmedburger So can I but neither one of us can play like David.

  • @SRone45 No. He's pretty talented. He plays the sax too

  • @krollaostmedburger And Mandolin and Banjo as well.

  • @SRone45 Yeah thats true. I saw the vid where he plays outside the wall with Roger. He used a mandolin there, but i've never seen him with a banjo.

  • Thank you so much for putting Ummagumma up! I looked everywhere on youtube to find it with all its parts split up like it's supposed to be, and then I found these vids!
