  • There are similar tracks in Florence, SC. Trees have grown over the tracks making them inpossible to use. It may have been SAL or ACL.

  • try following them. you never know where they might lead

  • @appleintosh they go nowhere, i seen those tracks thousands of times

  • @BarryManilowFan4eva

Hey unlock railroad track and sell them so you could get a lot of money.

  • nope

  • word to the wise also...could be date spikes. Foamers pay good money for them and will also tell you what date they were used.

  • Narrow gauge? Does it lead to an old company? Whas this an old main line? Street car tracks? Good video. Thanks for posting!

  • upsguy03 is right. Go back and find out the date on these.

  • it's a lil hard, there's snow on them now.

I'll check the date in the spring.

  • oh thats ok. just wait until the snow is melted then check on them again.

  • If you are ever there again, I was told that all tracks have the year stamped on them of when they were made. Just out of curiosity to see how old they really are. I looked at the tracks outside my house and found the year stamped on one end of each section.

  • That's some good info to know. I'll have to go back to some I found sometime and look for the year. Where about is it located? I have a video of them if ya want to check it out.

  • corner of 5th St & Hatch St (btwn Howell & the tracks).

  • Sorry I wasn't more clear. I was asking about the date on the track where on the track to look for the date. thanks.

  • Look on the rails.

    There should be a date.
