HA HA HA LOOK AT "Howie" omg and look at the models!!!! omg the banker is the baker!!!!!! ah ha grover grover groever. ha ha ha one cookie!!!! oh no FIVE COOKIES!!!! oh my god TWELVE COOKIES!!!!! YEAH PEANUT BUTTER SANDWICH YEAH U GO SADIE!!!!! one hundred cookies pfft, oh wow lol lol lol ha ha ha ha ha "COOKIES *munch munch munch munch"
They should've had this in 40 Years Of Sunny Days. At least on the TV montage from the additional DVD from the 40 Years of Life on the Street, they had Howie's intro for 2007.
I know for sure there aren't any cookies under them trays and I'm shocked he was able to offer a dozen cookies let alone 1 I thought they would have been gone. lol @ 6:44
There's a controversy about that on the discussion page on Muppet Wiki. One of the administrators, who claims to have been studying Muppeteers for years, is confident that it's Stephanie, saying he's heard her use other voices like Sadie's. Someone else said they've seen a picture of Fran pupeteering, but that doesn't prove she did the voice as well. And people say that the two of them have similar voices, so I'm not certain of anything.
I know for a fact that it's Fran. Because when I saw her at the Center for Puppetry Arts, she talked about how she preformed the contestent in this clip. Besides, even if I didn't see her, I would have known by the voice.
I recently have started watching Deal or No Deal and I think this segment is an excellent parody! It uses almost the exact same elements that are shown on the real series. The only main differences I notice (on the main show) is that the banker was in front of a more colourful background, and the choices were divided into two lists on the big screen.
I noticed that too. I assumed they were named after the people who performed them. Notice how Joey waddle-walks, which is what a lot of Joey's character's do. Plus, I think Erica is named after Eric Jacobson.
It seems very common for a muppet to "break the set" at the end of a clip. There's "Beat the Time" where Cookie Monster broke down the wall with a train, Elmo bringing in Snuffelupagus in the remake of "Beat the Time," Herry doing it in "Addition Game," and Grover's restaurant thing with the big hamburger.
It just seems weird.. I dunno, lol. I didn't know they were putting TV show parodies on Sesame Street now. This, plus the Law & Order and CSI parodies I saw the other day.
this was realy on Sesame street? i mean i no some people on youtube no about howie mandel but im sure that the 4 and 5 year olds dont get the joke but that was so funny rofl

Now, we know what Muppetears all the girls were named after, Joey(Mazzarino), Erica(Jacobson),Carmen(Osbhar),Leslie(Carrara), and Paula(McGinnis).
antsamthompson9 3 years ago
I just noticed that Paula is named after Paul McGinnis, a Muppetear who has done backround roles for Sesame Street.
antsamthompson9 3 years ago
Cool, I had a feeling she was named after a performer, but I couldn't think of one named Paul.
MarshalGrover 3 years ago

I see that most of the females are named after Muppet proformers. Joey(Mazzirino),Carmen(Osbhar),and Leslie(Carrara).

I noticed that too. I assumed they were named after the people who performed them. Notice how Joey waddle-walks, which is what a lot of Joey's character's do. Plus, I think Erica is named after Eric Jacobson.

Oh, I did not notice that. I thoght Erica was just a name for the character. I think you are right about Erica being named after Eric Jacobson.
