Shaun said in an interview that he wasn't the main writer of the song. It was an idea his friend/writer who helped write for all their albums came up with. Someone said the guy also wrote Broken. The whole album was written in an empty cabin somewhere. I love the album!

Second, he also wrote FMLYHM, he is credited as such on the booklet that comes with the CD (And I quote "All lyrics written by Shaun Morgan") and Shaun himself said that he let everything go and wrote this thinking solely as a man, and the needs that men can have and feel. Basic needs to be fulfilled and that is what this song is about. There is no deeper meaning to it.

Broken is not about Shuan Morgan's daughter. I am pretty sure it is about him and Amy Lee breaking up. And Shuan Morgan writes most of Seether music.

I completely agree as of now (a year later after my old comment)
I looked through my old FBINS album (after collecting dust in a year now) and found out that only 2-3 songs on the album is just DECENT music.
I've no idea what those bands are that you wrote, but they must suck if they are like this. That's for sure. :)
