The Gremlins 2 GB game is not really that bad, but that is just my opinion.

It's lightly enjoyable, even if it is nearly impossible. I've gotten all the way up to the 3rd boss but I had only one life left and I ended up getting a game over.

Yeah, during the course of the years I've actually beaten quite a few games that I couldn't when I was a kid but this piece of shit will always be impossible without cheating!

I have beaten this game when i was a child. Its hard but its quite short, so u can finish it although u might throw ur GB against the wall a few times. it´s a bad game though

damn, i still regret the day when i made my parents buy me that game. loved the film, but the game is horrible. even though i made it to the level 2 boss without getting hit once after a gazillion tries , i think i actually only managed to kill it once. or maybe twice. only to die a few seconds later because there were spikes everywhere and no way to make those jumps.

damn you game designers, and damn you club nintendo magazine for giving this thing a 4 page "review".

Calling most Gameboy games horrible because of controls, sound, ect. is like called a retard for double dribble in basketball. I've only played a handful of Gameboy games that were actually fun and enjoyable.

know what? i take it back... this game is so bad just because it's so hard. and I MEAN HARD. the difficulty is legendary. just for a taste, on level 3 you have to ride on a block that goes super-fast you won't believe, and have to dodge spikes!!!!

The block sequence is nearly unbeatable, even with cheats enabled ( I did it once to at least beat this damn game one time and nearly went berzerk...)!

Anyway, RE: Good games based on movies: Batman for the NES was one, Willow on NES (Which I actually speedran; Google 'willow speed run' with no quotes and it's the top result) was another, and after that...um...yeah, I got nothing.
