This really is a shame because the British are generally very highly respected in the US. I know I used to respect them, but after seeing this I don't know. I guess it's easy to hate a superpower, it's a way of scapegoating your own problems. It probably happened to the Brits 100 years ago.

The Office is a documentary filmed, following the day-to-day lives of Office workers of which Gervais (real name David Brent) was Office manager (at the time the documentary was made). Gervais as we all know then pursued a career in comedy (which he sucks at). The only decent show he made was 'When the whistle blows'.
