may i ask did the platform shoe originate in england? and if so did it start in the 60's or 70's? just curious..thanks.

im glad you have the ones without the stilletto! the stilletto is a waste of money and its harder to wear because it doesnt distribute the weight very well.

i love these shoes they are awesome! and i have some platform boots now they are red and the other pair is black and they are a full length boot and i also have some in silver. i live in hollywood so i was lucky to find them! have you heard of Jefferey Campbell? he's really starting a revival of the 70's platform boot and i have 5 of the knockoffs that look like his and iwas really hard pressed to find them. i was born in 1965 so platforms are no stranger to me. yours are awesome!

@traceymallard Hi Tracey...thanks for your messages..the boots you see were mostly made by the Little Shoebox in London, but I have found a bootmaker in Bangalore, India, who is able to replicate it to a certain level! Curious about your pairs and the revival initiative by Jefferey Campbell... let me know more guidodam@gmail.com

@traceymallard I wish we can make this style of footwear populair again. i have about 20 pairs.. mostly leather stack heeled boots..varying in height from 3.5"heels to 10" (Union flag pair, look at my videos...it's awsome!) cheers, guido
