the motherboard is to big to fit in most cases there is only like 10 cases it will fit into. They designed it so that its sole purpose is really for people who want to try beat world records for over clocking, for the most part it wouldn't be put into a case.

actually there are only about 9cases this mobo will fit into because of its shear size, if you go to the evga website you can find out what cases those are, and yes I'm fairly sure it has connectors for usb and firewire ports.

The board may only have 7 slots but its long enough to have 9, the first 2 slot positions are taking up by the black heatsink under the main NB cooler, so really it should ahve 9 slots.

You need a case with atleast 9 expansion slots except for if you wanted to load this with 4 GTX 285 Classifieds, then you need a 10 slot case as the bottom dual slot card will hang off the bottom of the board meaning it takes up another slot position for a total of 10.

didnt u see the liquid nitrogen(or helium i dont what they used) they put on the gpus and the cpu, it was running cold as fuck, had shit loads of power going to it, so it was overclocked really fucking high, now 4 stock clocked 5870s get 27,000 as compare too the 4 overclocked 285 with liquid nitrogen setup. not an ati fanboy but right now the 4 5870 or 2 5970 is the way to go. hopefully nvidia brings something big to the table because im still on the edge of jumping onto the dx11 train.

there is no motherboard in this planet for retail that can give 4 x x16 PCIe slots, you know that right on the 1366 chips theres only 32 lanes of bandwith available for ur pci cards, ok your mobo may suport 4 way sli ( which i doubt unless u got the new evga mobo ) if u populate 1 x16 slot, the bandwith will run at x16

@lootehcris Sorry to reply to the old post, but the Classified 4 way has two nf200 chips on the board, allowing every other x16 (1, 3, 5, 7) to run at the full x16. Now the even numbered slots (2, 4, and 6) share bandwidth with the others, so if you populated all the slots they WOULD suck down to x8, but just running the odd ones for 4 way sli would get you full x16 on all.

it's impossible to use all four GTX 295's.

The maximum amount of GPU's a system can use in a game is four. being the GTX 295 is infact a duel GPU card, that means only two GTX 295's can be used at any given time.

Although there are people out there that use 3+ GTX 295's for folding etc.
