  • Does anyone know Kurt Angle was suppose to defeat The Undertaker at WrestleMania 22

  • @YoungBasedJoel really?

  • He isnt the most popular ever though.. he's wrong there

  • I'd rather watch Kurt Angle wrestle than Undertaker in a match (maybe i'd make an exception for the Big Evil persona) but as a package Angle has it all. The pure talent and athleticism and brilliant mic skills, pandered to a crowd or illicited vilification (And the crowd would scream "you suck" at him regardless of his face/heel status). What i'm trying to say is, Kurt Angle is one of, if not the, best.

  • bret "the hitman" hart said it best "He is the best there is was ,is and ever will be"

  • c.m punk greatest ever

  • Chris Benoit should not be in the conversation of being the greatest ever after he killed his wife and kid

  • @scoooty Benoit is still a legend, fans wont forget what he did in the ring even if WWE act like he never existed.

  • @JacobsSilhouette He is a scumbag, and WWE is right to never acknowledge his contributions to professional wrestling. His in-ring exploits will never be enough for most decent, kind-hearted fans to ignore the terrible atrocities he committed.

  • @scoooty You dont know what mental state he was in when he did that, is he a murderer? yes. Is he a ring legend? yes. Those things arent mutually exclusive.

  • @JacobsSilhouette So do you idolise a man who slaughtered his wife and child?

  • @scoooty why the hell would you ask him that? This interview happened before the incident with benoit so you were a fool for ever bringing it up to begin with. Second yeah we get that benoit killed his wife and child believe me after having it rammed down our throats the past 5 years we get it. But it is not going to change the fact that benoit was one of the best technical wrestlers and gave us great matches. One's in ring performance should never be influenced by the choices one made in life.

  • @Sephirothlord Bullshit! When he made that 'one choice' as you so callously put it, he defined his legacy as a woman basher, child abuser, and murderer.

  • @scoooty Well that is your perogative i suppose but I learned a long time ago not to mix in their real life decisions with what they did in the ring otherwise by your logic i'd be hating damn near every great name in the business for wife beating drug abusing and so forth etc.

  • @scoooty yeash. Grow up. His personal life is independent of his wrestling career. I'd easily say Chris Benoit is one of the best at what he did. I myself am a wrestler, and I think just affiliating his WHOLE life on something that you and I cannot demonstrate but the consequences happened is kind of silly. He has done so much in the industry, and it is ridiculous to avoid that. WWE SHOULD recognize him better, it's petty to not do so.

  • @Entertainmentwf Christ, we can use your same argument and say that we should not judge Hitler for the events leading up to and during WW2 and the Holocaust, but commend his achievements as a public speaker, a motivator of people and uniting Germany during one of the worst depressions in world history.

    Am I doing it right?

  • Imagine Angle vs Taker at WM????????????????

  • cant agree more

  • How can Kurt say Taker's the greatest ever? He's never wrestled Bret, Macho, Ravishing, Davey Boy, Owen, hell even that crazy motherfucker Dynamite Kid.

  • @daigoji83 I think Kurt has wrestled enough people to form his own opinion, don't you? He was going by total package. Not just wrestling ability, which he's right. For his size, Undertaker is un-human. In terms of ability in the ring, characterization, promos, ability to control a match, make those smaller then him look good (hard for big guys to do), just everything. Not just pure mat wrestling. Undertaker is right up there at the top. Ahead of the named you mentioned in many ways too

  • @MattOuellette88 Sorry bro, but you telling me Taker is ahead of Macho??

  • @daigoji83 You missed my point. I said Undertaker has qualities, in my opinion, that are better than the names you listed. It's all a matter of opinion. Taker and Macho are both top 10 guys. Does it matter who is better than who? In Kurt's opinion he is #1. He gives valid reasons. If you think Macho is #1 and he thinks UT is #1 guess what? It's still just a matter of opinion. I would personally put HBK in the 1 slot, but what difference does it make? Everyone has an opinion. Kurt gave his.

  • @daigoji83 Of course Undertaker is better than Macho.

  • @CHADE47lol u mad

  • @daigoji83 Problem? (^_^)?

  • @MattOuellette88 so true!!

  • there's only a fraction of the divide between austin, rock, hbk, foley, taker, hhh, bret, and kane imo.

  • The Rock is the best wrestler..

  • 1,The Undertaker

  • The Undertaker says Best Wrestler is Kurt Angle

  • My top 10: The Rock ^10

  • i met him and he huge and kissed me

  • My top 10. 10.Red rooster 9.Jake Roberts 8.Boss man 7.Boggie man 6.China 5.Akem 4.Piper 3.Ric Rude 2.IRS 1.Koko beware

  • Best Wrestler: Kurt Angle.

  • God Angle sounds so different in TNA. He needs to just stop talking and pick up a mute gimmick. Please.

  • There is only one Undertaker. Fucking sick to my stomach when I see that faT shit abyss walking around trying to bit his style.

  • i always loved an respected the undertaker any match he has i enjoyed watching exspecailly the wm matches those were epic

  • The Undertaker is the greatest ever.

  • Kurt Angle saying that, is like saying there is a level past "the best"

  • Undertaker is without a doubt the soul of the WWE. Since Shawn retired he is the only wrestler still active how was in the very 1st episode of RAW. So the WWE without the American Badaas/Deadman is like a chocolate cake without sugar: some may eat it, but a lot of people wont even try it.

  • @bigmaster493 i'm with you on that....too bad he wrestles once a year now and there are no new guys to replace him. i wish wwe would be able to make characters like they used to. it almost seems as if vince mcmahon stopped giving a shit about the wwe. lets face facts, most fans who witnessed the attitude era would probably agree with the statement i just made.

  • @bigmaster493 his time is coming though so make your chocolate cake, shine it up real nice, and savior all the sugar you have because I think this is his last year. So sad because UT is my favorite of all time.

  • @KaraokeLoveCat I was looking at Undertaker's wikipedia when i realized that they posted the results of the Wrestling Newsletter Observer Awards. Those who don't it's one of the most influential wrestling magazine. For the 1st time ever Smackdown was named "best weekly wrestling show", and it was one of the first year without even seeing the Undertaker. So maybe WWE is still worth it to wacth without him

  • @bigmaster493 Big -- Smackdown is a great show and I usually DVR it and watch it every week, but what does your response have to do at all with anything I said in my comment????

  • @KaraokeLoveCat What did your comment say again? ^^' Was it something about Smackdown being different ? If it's not i am sorry for disturbing

  • why do you think he's still in the game. the wwe know once the taker isn't on raw anymore, this generation of wrestling is on the verge of death.

  • Undertaker will soon be 20-0

  • my top 10 wrestlers ever 1. ric flair 2.the rock 3.stone cold 4.undertaker 5.shawn michaels 6.hulk hogan 7.bret hart 8.kurt angle 9.booker t 10.edge ps john cena will never make this list
  • @vindelextreme a top 10 list with Randy Savage is pointless

  • UNDERTAKER is UNDEAD

  • Now days he calls himself the greatest.

  • taker is back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • Kurt Angle is the greatest of all time imo, NEVER had a bad match in WWE. Taker is the same though, has a presence to him that nobody will ever have. You can't help but not watch every move the Undertaker makes. The greatest of all time to me is not possible to label somebody with. However there is a list of all time greats, and it isn't big and Taker and Angle are unarguably on that list imo.

  • say whatever you guys want you can make your top 5 list. but mine is always

    1. undertaker 2. undertaker 3. undertaker 4. undertaker 5. eugene... naa just kiding THE UNDERTAKER IS THE BEST period

and if your not down with that i got 3 words for ya

    U Mad Bro?

  • The business reason for going 19-0 in wrestlemania is indeed mind boggling. To maintain popularity through all of those wrestlemanias and having to come out on top is for this business really amazing. To remain relevant for more than 20 years is his greatest asset.

  • no he isnt. oh and I'm a "real wwf/e fan"

  • Goldberg's 173-0 is insignificant because it was done over a short period of time over jobbers in weekly shows. Undertaker's 19-0 is a much bigger streak as its done at the biggest stage of wrestling over a period of over 2 decades and to remain so popular, respected and dominant for 20+ years is much greater than anything else. That is why the Mirror calls it the 7th greatest streak in sports history and why the WWE lists it in their Records page as the Greatest WWE Record ever. That proves it.

  • 1 . Goldberg 2 . Stone Cold 3. Undertaker 4. The Rock 5. Tiple H

  • Undertaker can leap over the top rope and hit his opponent. The rock doesnt even dare to climb up the rope.

  • absolute truth!!!

  • Total crap, the greatest wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko.

  • @RaisuliLordoftheRiff Just because Malenko knew 1,000 reversals and shoot holds doesn't make him the greatest.

  • I gotta respect Kurt, Hes right about The Undertaker, Takers got it all, hes huge!!!! hes around 6 foot 9 and 320 pounds and hes just as quick as Angle in the ring

  • My top 10, My opinion k? 10.Chris Jericho 9.Chris Benoit 8.Eddie Guerrerro 7.Triple H 6.Randy Savage 5.Stone Cold Steve Austin. 4.The Rock 3.Bret Hart 2.Shawn Michaels 1,The Undertaker.

  • @xLikexAxNinjax I Like It but. I would like to say mine too but by wrestlinng abillity and their impact on the art of wrestling not mic skills or charisma 10.) CM Punk 9.) Chris Benoit 8.) Triple H 7.) Owen Hart 6.) Shawn Michaels 5.) Kurt Angle 4.) Randy Savage 3.) Ricky Steamboat 2.) Ric Flair 1.) Bret Hart I know putting CM Punk is far fetched, but still his matches vs.Jeff Hardy, Del Rio, Cena and in ROH vs. Joe was relentless. Thank You
  • @xLikexAxNinjax What about Jericho?

  • @xLikexAxNinjax respect ur opinion but Stone Cold Steve Austin is #1. vince has even said himself the rock was great but he was no Stone Cold Steve Austin.

  • @MUNDOM316 How about in real life?

Woman bashing, alcoholic and disrespectful red neck Steve, or sell out, repetitive and hypocritical Rock?

Stone Cold is only #1 because he was the 'cool role model for teens', but Taker had the best and most controversial feuds of all time, especially during Attitude Era.

  • @MidgetmaniaRIP WHAT?

  • @xLikexAxNinjax where is kane?

  • @xLikexAxNinjax I agree with you alot here man very good ranking i would swap the the top 2 personally but a great list completely only one bad thing about them all though..they have to stop at some point ..shame

  • @mrpabloboi11 Thanks, there will never be any like those few eh?

  • @xLikexAxNinjax Love it!!!! But Im HBK fan Lol. Love the list

  • Coming from an Olympic gold medalist. 'Nuff said!

  • @HiTmaNUnLeaSHeD

    exactly

  • WWF has so many wrestlers that its hard to chose just 1 as the best ever. Imo, all 10 of the following wrestlers are just as good as each other and deserve to be called the best wrestler of all times. Undertaker Stone Cold Hogan Flair HHH Shawn Micheals Bret Heart Rock Kurt Angle Goldberg/Kane I had to put Kane in the list because hes the most dedicated wrestler WWE/F had ever had. He went bald, had plastic surgery on his face, wore a mask that made it difficult for him to breath, all for wwe
  • @florianfan2008 forgetting eddie and chris there

  • @S1LENTSC0P3

i wouldnt put eddie and chris among the top 10 of all times, but certainly among the top 20.

  • @florianfan2008 what? chris beniot was on of the best technical wrestlers the wwe ever had

  • @florianfan2008 -That's a good list. I don't about about Flair in relation to the WWF or Goldberg. I'd pick Davey Boy over Goldberg hands down.

  • real talk kurt

  • undertaker the most respected wrestler in wwe history. Helped and for the most part carried the wwe during the 'lean years'. while i dont agree that hes the most popular ever(imo that goes to stone cold steve austin nothing imo can compare to the ovations he was getting in 1998/1999) i do think that if undertaker is probably the most complete wrestler wwe's ever had. A big man, can cut a promo, can work with near enough every1, has evolved over time. And has the RESPECT of the entire locker room

  • What he says is true. I don't think I've heard one bad word spoken about Undertaker from other wrestlers. Definitely has everyone's respect, and must not be a big asshole like some of the other big names in history.

  • @Silks well triple h is in the shortest list ever then. cuz he has buried the undertaker on numerous occasions outside the ring.

  • @thewholefinshow What?

  • Undertaker is the greatest legendary wrestler ever in WWE.

  • no one can disagree the deadman is the best ever 20 years in wwe and its still his yard

  • Undertaker is a legend. remember his debut in Survivor Series when he was a mystery fighter. When he came out, he scared me and I was only at home watching it lol! How a guy his size can balance on the top rope and walk along it, I'll never know

  • Chris Benoit's name was mentioned.. Clearly this interview happened before June of 2007.

  • for me the top 5 wrestlers are taker, the rock, hbk, bret hart and stone cold. not just for their athleticism but for their addition to the story lines and for the matches they gave us over the years. the only reason i watch wrestling nowadays is because i hope that for maybe 2 seconds, i will feel the same way i felt as i watched the attitude era. and im sure some of you agree with me

  • The real wwf/e fans, know's that,

the undertaker is the best of all time,

respect for the most complete wrestler of all time

  • @99mrRamy agreed....everyones gonna have a personal favorite- that will probably relate to their personality and generation.....but if undertakers not at least in a list of your top 5...you dont know shit!

  • @99mrRamy i respect taker, but the best of all time is the first ever undisputed champion Y2J Chris Jericho.

  • @GodSashie Y2J is just like a student in taker school

  • @99mrRamy bullshit

  • @ScrewedByP cena fans :)))))))

  • @99mrRamy lol goldberg 173-0 vs 19-0 undertaker ...

  • @iii7uhhggyui

173-0 in WCW is equivalent to about 3-0 in WWF/E

    HAYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

  • @RaisuliLordoftheRiff sting kevin nash and hulk hogan there u go 3 i can name like 50 that goldberg beat as good as what undertaker beat 19-0

  • @iii7uhhggyui yes because a fake streak means so much

  • @Supershackda undertakers streak is fake 2

  • @iii7uhhggyui i never said it wasnt, my point was simply that you can't use either of their streaks as arguments to why either is better

  • @Supershackda but its ovious 173-0 is better than undertaker he even did 146-0 in japan i think and still undefeated and 176-0 somewhere else undertaker did 19-0 just once

  • @iii7uhhggyui Around 2/3 of those wins were against jobbers, if not more. Its not always about quantity but the quality of wrestlers that you beat. Taker has beaten 3 wwe hall of famers at mania (jimmy snuka, hbk, ric flair and 4 if u count edge this year) along with many other great names like diesel, hhh, kane, randy orton. In all of goldbergs win he faced about 7 or 8 elite wrestlers like scott hall, ddp, hennig, the giant, sting, and hogan. im probably forgetting some but u get the point

  • @mattroberts53 still if u combinethose wreslters together and combine undertakers streak together its oviously goldberg

  • @99mrRamy My friend's kid said cena is the best and undertaker was a shit that should retire cause he sucks and my favorite cena can beat him in just 5 moves.

Me: i was about to slap that kid for saying that and he even said the word shit.

  • @99mrRamy The Undertaker is the face of WWE/WWF.

  • @99mrRamy agreed, it takes something to be main eventing in the biggest pro wrestling company for 20 years!! no one but Undertaker has done that!

  • Hell No .. THE ROCK IS TH BEST DAMN WWF CHAMP THERE EVER WAS !

    AND THE GREATEST EVER ..

IF YOU SMELL WHT THE ROCK IS COOKIN !!

    #Team Bring It

  • @m3oothy10 nope you're wrong!

  • @m3oothy10 u clearly no shit... the rock doesnt touch taker as a wrestler so STFU!

  • @TheDeathKiller121

    Shut Up JABRONI

  • I can't say Undertaker is the best but I would put him in the Top 5 List consisting of Rick Flair, Harley Race, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels & The Undertaker. People lets stop with the John Cena comments. He is not even in the top 25. Lets get real.

  • @gearronvinson cena isn't in the top 250 never mind 25

  • @RatedRpoed I can't argue with you there. You do have a point.

  • GOAT = TAKER HBK ROCK STONE COLD

  • undertaker is legendary and to wrestle against him is the greatest honor....more so than if you are in his corner

  • 20-0

  • John Cena has Defined an era The PG era!!!!

  • He said chris benoit, quick fire him!

  • @videomaster312 This was in 2005....jesus, kurt angle wasn't even in the wwe when he died...

  • @AttitudeEra12 it was just a joke chill out man

  • @AttitudeEra12 actually this took place in 2002 during Kurt's feud with Rock and Taker for the Undisputed WWE Championship

  • you have your rocks? ok tell me this you bald faggot sell out who else was as charismatic as the rock? NO ONE you dumb shit

  • @CriminalIntent89 So mad

  • @CriminalIntent89

    ok chill out lol

  • @CriminalIntent89 wow ur mad. the rock is the face of the wwe like all those guys. undertaker is the backbone

  • Why does Kurt always seem like he's sucking on a taffy?

  • @Wallcrawler Is "taffy" slang for big black cock?

  • My prediction is that 'Taker will have his last match at Wrestlemaina 30(in 2014) and then retire.

  • after i saw this i consider kurt angle a close second

  • the are no such thing as kurt angle's cos his theme song is u suck

  • Its True! Its damn True!

  • Kurt tells it how it is and the respect he shows is amazing!

  • its true! its damm true!!

  • Undertaker is probably the most respected ever, but greatest ever? I don't think so IMO.

  • @barbarash I'd like to respectfully ask who you think is better, cause there are few people who can compete. HBK, HHH, The Rock, Stone Cold, Sting, guys like that are the only ones that can really compete.

  • @LegendLucario I'll be honest there are a number of elite guys who reached such a level it comes down to opinion on who is the best ever, no one is right no one is wrong. I'd put HBK as the best ever IMO because he stole the show so many times be it Raw, WM or any PPV & he did it at such a high level consistently throughout his career. Longevity is why I put him there not because I necessarily think he was better at his peak than say Kurt Angle.

  • @LegendLucario The reason the Undertaker IMO isn't in the same class was because it was only in his later years did he reach such high levels interms of match quality. He relied on his gimmick for many years and that was great but work rate wise he was nothing special for quite a while & never had those innovative defining moments like an Austin or HBK. Again its my opinion you can happily disagree. My personal favourite wrestler is the Rock, do I think he is the best ever though? No.

  • @barbarash Oh no, I'm just curious and I'd like to have a civic conversation, its always nice to gain another's views. I think around 98 is when he really took off both in work ethic and popularity among the fans. Its a tough question to ask really, I honestly can't say theres a definite greatest of all time cause there are guys like Savage Taker HBK Bret Hart and so many more. But for guys that can be considered the greatest, I just feel Taker is in that class with the rest of them IMO.

  • @LegendLucario To be honest his work rate in 1997 was MUCH better than 98', his popularity was actually dwindling in 98' due to living in Austin's shadow which turned him heel. In 97 he was a great worker but that level didn't return until 2007 (apart from a few sporadic great matches against Angle!). Ever since then he's been putting on top calibre matches on the level of Bret, HBK, Flair etc. I'd say Undertaker has the greatest character/gimmick ever again due to longevity though.

  • I disagree, I think the greatest accomplishment is to be known as the best ever by the fans. Because if it wasn't for the fans there would be no Undertaker, no Kurt Angle, no Triple H etc etc.

  • @TheSneakyKiller777 there would be no wwe if it wasnt for the fans, entertainment for the fans so give them what they want!

  • You can see that Angle doesn't feel comfortable saying that Taker is greatest ever =]

  • the best wrestlers ever

    1) the undertaker

    2) HBK

  • You have to when taker can destroy your career with his influence in the back

  • Former Mt Lebanon Student ! KURT ANGLE!

  • what year was this?

  • @SHEEMBA This is off of a dvd set dedicated towards the Undertaker. Shows a bunch of his matches and has commintation from a bunch of the people he's faced. I believe this video is actually right before the Undertaker vs Angle match in the dvd.

  • @Rampizzle Thanks :)

do you knoe the name of the dvd by any chance?

  • @SHEEMBA believe it's called "History of the Undertaker".

  • @Rampizzle THank you very much

  • I absolutely agree!!!!!

  • it is very hard we don't have undertaker in wwe

  • Undertaker is NOT the greatest of all time. Shawn Michaels is. WWE's own program "Top 100 Greatest Superstars" listed Shawn as number 1. Any real fan that's followed wrestling for years also knows Shawn Michaels is simply the best in and out of that ring.

  • @RealmWoW Just because a dvd tells you out who's the best doesn't mean it's fact. Shawn Michaels is one of the all time great wrestlers but not THE best in my opinion. He tends to oversell and before he stop wrestling in 1998 he was a dick behind the scenes. Also in drawing terms when he was the WWE champion, he was one of the worst in history. I think those also terms in determining in who's is the greatest ever in WWE.

  • @24varner Agreed HBK is surprisingly limited in his ability in the ring imo. Undertaker is possibly the best of all time.

  • @RealmWoW I disagree with this list and I agree with everything Angle said. Because whoever madethat list isn't a person directly related to pro wrestling and Angle is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, and he is PRO wrestler and a Gold medalist amateur wrestler. So, technically, who would be best to elect the greatest wrestler in history?

  • @RealmWoW yah shawn michaels is 19-0 monky ass ... just fuck of the undertaker is the best of the best

  • i would say Undertaker is the most RESPECTED pro wrestler of all time but i would never call him the GREATEST pro wrestler of all time. His "Undertaker" gimmick is what made him so popular. He was an excellent wrestler for a big man but there are quite a few better wrestlers. His mic skills were good at best but not great by any means.

  • Kurt should have fought Undertaker at Wrestlemania. It would be freakin awesome

  • Fuckin' A. I'm not even a real wrestling fan and I love the Undertaker. He's a complete badass.

  • At one point in WWE Kurt was pushing 260lbs max,he looked jacked back then talkin 2002-2006. since going to TNA,not counting all Angle's health & bodily injuiries, present day Angle from this past Sunday's TNA PPV he looked pale, frail & haggard, but still put on a great match. I wish he'd come back to the E & wrap up his career in a promotion that could use his skills to work with guys like Kofi Kingston,Evan Bourne,i'd love to see him against CM Punk.
