I got married last month in Vegas. We got married in a helicopter at night which flew over the Bellagio as the fountains were going off. It was magic!

We then had a meal in the Eiffel Tower restaurant watching the fountains.....that was even more magical.

A night I will never forget for as long as I live.

Dont get married in a church.....do it in a helicopter above Las Vegas at night....it's way more memorable! (imo)

Thank you for bringing (returning) tears to my eyes. I had recorded this on my camera during our visit to Las Vegas about 5 years ago. When I got home, it was missing from the memory card -- I was devastated. I absolutely love that song, and the choreographic blending with the water is simply exquisite. There's very few "opera"-style songs I like, but this one has such a powerful feel.

Some countries in Europe have laws where if a tv network does a news report that is untrue then the network gets shut down for a month. I would trust European news more than our news networks, ones based on fear and the other is based on fact.

But I agree, the bellagio fountains don't use any water up at all. It's all recycled into the same lake and used later for another show. Some people need to do research ey?

i dont wanna post any "punchlines" and wouldnt claim america is greedy or something. (I really like the US including vegas) I just doubt that it was the right decision when they startet to let vegas grow. (A big city right in the middle of a desert?!). Actually this "growing" is still going on so they have to find ways to get water to vegas. Restrictions are one right step, but maybe not enough.

First of all: Do you trust american news? i dont, nor do i trust european news. Some months ago i had to give a speech on vegas' water problem. Most of the information i used i got from the snwa's web page and other (reliable) sources (excluding news).

Second of all: Maybe the do so NOW. If there where no restrictions they would use more water, just because its the easier and cheaper way (provided water price isnt too high). And of course because its "really hot."

The fountains are set in a 9-acre (36,000 m2) manmade lake. Contrary to a common urban myth that the lake is filled with treated greywater from the hotel, it is actually serviced by a fresh water well that was drilled decades prior to irrigate a golf course that previously existed on the site. The fountains actually use less water than irrigating the golf course did.

Uhh no it's not. The show used at the actual Bellagio Fountains show is the version with Sarah Brightman. However, the recording for this video is obviously Celine Dion. Listen to the Sarah Brightman recording and you'll notice the female part sounds younger than the woman on this version and on the line ,"Si lo so che non ce luce ", the enunciation of the words differ between Celine's and Sarah's. Celine's uses the "ch" sound heavier.
