I use Jing to create a short video without talking. Now anytime I try to use it, I keep getting Go Pro. It seems as if this is just a free trial not free for long. After a while you have to upgrade.

check if your microphone is on. right click on speaker online on bottom left of the screen, click recording devices and make sure it is not muted or something.

jing sucks. CamStudio is waaaaaaaaaaaay better. jing has a recording limit and there are no hotkeys. CamStudio has all of that stuff without the recording limit! switch to CamStudio!

Note - I was caught off guard regarding the following..... If you delete a video from Jing History - it will delete that video from ScreenCast, your hard drive, YouTube, and wherever else you used Jing to save your video. No warnings - it just deletes the file from wherever Jing was used to saved it. Of course, you can make another copy the file after using Jing to save it - then the copy will remain even after the file is deleted from Jing History.

When you are done recording your video either

1. After you type what you want to name the video type ".avi"

2. Or you can leave it as .swf but put it in Windows Movie Maker and then save because .wmv is supported by YouTube

This is a good program but it's really only good for people looking to explain things to someone easier for business purposes. it only records to swf files and the picture to i believe bmp or something like that. swf files can only be converted though a batch converter which is basically like a screen recorder. this video is being geared towards the wrong people. this software would definitely be useful but just for someone else.

you can save the video to your hard drive server watever then upload...

ok ill tell you once you have recorded your video it should be saved in your documents,i havnt used Jing yet so it might be different but anyway,after its been saved on yourtube you should see a bitton that says upload,click it and put the title diescription etc. and it then you will have to find it so click browse and find the video file done! it takes a while to upload but yeah
