older cubcadet compact desiels have the 3cylinder cummins in them in the late 90s

actually cummins does make a 3 cylinder. They are hard to find. The model is 3a1.

A friend of mine just put one in his puller.

I highly doubt cummins make a compact diesel engine for a tractor. They smallest cummins I know of is a 3.9L 4cylinder and those are in some tractors

I am sure it is a kabota or a yanmar. Cummins does not make a small three cylinder like this.
