Douglas and Stone repeatedly use very specific VERBATIM phrases (as well as schtick and tactics) that had been created by Bean and circulated widely on cassette for more than a decade before they launched their "Roy Mercer" truck-stop product franchise. Whether Bean recorded 5 calls or 500 is irrelevant either way.

Bean's tapes had circulated and been heard on the tour buses of various country stars for years before Brent and Phil heard about the success of the Jerky Boys CDs and plundered this dead guy's schtick.
