It was a Stevens 200, though it's got a new trigger and stock, and has been glass bedded. On a still day, I can do 4" groups at 500 yards (I suck at reading wind).
It's a range. Private, I suppose, though anyone can get a membership. The backstops you see (from L to R) are at 200, 300, 400 and 500 meters, with 600 and 700m backstops off to the left of the 200m backstop, and out of the picture here.
Do you reload for the rifle ? What bullet and gr powder ?

As I recall, that was with Varget and Hornady 162 grin AMAX bullets. I don't exactly remember the charge weight at the moment

What kind of rifle is it? What kind of groups are you getting at those ranges.

the flight time is pretty long... have you tried your 7mm-08 on elk? also if you do hunt game, what's the performance like on deer?

Not on elk. Drops deer like a lightning bolt, with 140 grain Barnes TSX's.

Private rane or private land? I'm lucky I have a place to shoot at 400m.

Nice. Those are some good distances. Yes it'd be ocnsidered a private range because of the membership being required.

Yeah, me too. to bad the camera does such a poor job of capturing it

I like that sound it makes when the bullet hits.
