  • Why pop still alive?...

  • great song, spot on timing, just goes to show how much appreciation they had of eachother as a band, even at that time. great band of our time.

  • This is actually a good fucking song.

  • Everyone is young and confused at some point in their lives. Even the great.

  • Jonny's hair scares me.

  • pop was dead at 25th of June 09

  • bunch of fucking losers...

  • there is some really high points in this live gig at @ astoria

  • You know i really wish pop was dead,

BUNCH OF FUCKEN LOSERS ., honestly that is LOL

  • Idk how Jonny is so accurate jumping around like that, i didn't hear one mistake.

  • dude, he is already considered to be up there with the greatest guitarists ever

  • When this is one of the worst songs a band has released, you know they're fucking amazing.

  • They say they hated this song yet it's pretty relevant these days...

  • This song is pretty badass whether or not they hated it I wish they would play all their classics for one day only or re-record them or something....

  • Going from this to "No Surprises" is INSANE!

  • this is the worst song radiohead has ever done, and it's pretty badass.

  • lol agreed, either this or stop whispering xD

  • PHIL HAS HAIR

  • radiohead would have made a fine punk band

  • Where do they say they hate it? anyone got a link to the interview? I'm not disputing it, just interested to see it.

  • Go out and get the dvd "Meeting People is Easy" In that dvd it kinda explains how much RH hated EMI and the stuff they did in the very begining.

  • this song is best !

  • this verson is faster

  • orly????????????????????????????

  • they remind of the sex pistols a bit in this video

  • I think the reason they dont like this song is because they are now "pop" i.e. popular. This song is against the press not pop. and it makes it very clear. But they would be very hypercritical to play it live

  • mmh they're certainly not a "pop" group, their music is softer, something of a rock/pop sure, but they're still an indie band, not the kind of things you'll hear on the radio every day, so i don't see why it would be hypocritical for them to play it live... besides i believe they hate most of their Pablo Honey and some of their The Bends songs too, their style has changed so much since...

  • yeah they seem so punk in this era of theirs in their attitude its very different from what they do now its very odd as much as they may have grownup its just very different from what they are now

  • the word "pop" is so inaccurate anyway. rock, punk, whatever, all of those *are* popular music. although since the grunge movement it refers more and more specifically to commercialized popular music. but that's for marketing purpose more than anything.

  • bad word

  • I wouldn't blame 'em if they hated this song. I was surprised it was Radiohead when I heard this song. Just so not them.

  • was it realeased with "stop whispering" at first? didnt know that.

  • the pop is dead single was released before pablo honey, while stop whispering was released after pablo honey

  • I love this song.... I love pablo honey... I love Radiohead and all their records, they nly get better with each one

  • Well they have definatley improved from this song. Kid A is genius, but this is just weak songwriting. They fucking hate this song.

  • They may hate the song, but it's probably just from embarrassment because they know how much better they've become, and how childish it makes them look. It's still Radiohead, and it still kicks ass.

  • hell yeah, this song is really growing on. i wasn't sure if that was a good thing until now.

  • what are you talking about, kid a is awesome. All radiohead albums are awesome, there isnt one album that i disliked

  • Let me ask you something... how can you call yourself a Radiohead fan then?

  • Just seems so weak. SO GLAD Radiohead evolved as much as they did. There's only so much weight this can carry. But stuff off Kid A? Timeless.

  • i love them, i like so much, and i think that RADIOHEAD is the of the best..all theirs songs are greats...aunque aveces, como q se elevan demasiado

  • its a shame they hate this song so much

    personally

    i really like it

  • i very much agree.

  • so do i but i also think it sounds like blur doing terrorvision or the reverse? it is lyrically below them now and sonically ... is this when radiohead invented the libertines?

  • yeah exactly

any other band, this'd be a good song

but it just don't have that radiohead x factor

  • ahaha in more than ten years jonny greenwood still looks exactly the same rofl

  • yeah the band hate the song now

    i don't

when was this video? they dont play this song live no more.

  • March, 1994.

  • i love this song!!!!

  • The lyrics are not really transcendant... but omg the melody! The music! Jonny was already a god....

  • i love that badass. little joke.. the best for me ! ;d hahha. Radioheaaad

  • hahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! bless Radiohead, they are so awesome, but this is just rubbish

    "bunch of fucking losers" hahaha!

  • that's so badass..haha. Love it.

  • Radiohead aun no deja de sorprenderme...es la mejor banda de mi generación.

  • radiohead actually hate this song, apparently...

  • Not a bad song at all... Rock side of Radiohead

  • no way

what other band in the world has made the progress from songs like this to songs like 'There There'?

    no one.

Like it or not Radiohead are the best.

  • Blur have had similar transitions. I'd say Radiohead and Blur are the best.

  • yea...and oasis and muse SUCK..haha.

  • The editing on this show is terrible... You can't get focused on anything for more than five seconds. I hate it.

  • I LOVE the OLD radiohead, there music is way too boring and opinonated now. You've gotta love jonny's hair back then too, they way it does that bob thing.( its just so Lowes Lane á la the new adventures of superman)

  • It IS a good song. Isn't "vile" or anything. I don't think Radiohead has any terrible songs..but you can most certainly see, how over time, they have changed. Which is good, they always push themselves.

  • its a good sooong

  • I would pay the blood of my first born child to see this played on the 2006 tour.

    Seriously.

  • fuck yes

  • It has its moments, namely the little brian may-ish bit after "bunch of f*cking loosers".

  • Radiohead's Worst song - by far! Vile!

  • NOO way, I LOVE it
