everyone, it didnt go in initially (sorry my spelling sucks) but during a shootout, to be a good goal, it must go in the net and he cant touch it after shooting it. he did both those things. it hit the post first but then the puck went off the goalie's back i believe. so it is a good goal

i remember watching a shootout when fluery made the save and the puck was rolling towards the net but he put his stick out and stopped it . i remember the brodcasters saying that the puck is still active until it stops.

Watch closely at the end. It goes off the goalie's back and goes in, which is a valid goal. As long as the shooter only makes one shot, anything that happens after that counts.

That is not the rule. As was eventually decided on review, it was a goal. As long as the player doesn't touch it after making the initial shot, any momentum/change in direction of the puck is valid.

Doesn't matter what the puck does after the player takes the shot, it's the player who has to take it up ice with continuous forward momentum, it's not about what happens after it leaves his stick.
