As for your spin on "mandate", Obama won by almost 10 million votes in the popular vote. That's the largest margin of victory by a non-incumbent ever and the sixth largest margin ever. He got more votes than anyone ever. He won by 192 electoral votes. He won 11 previously "red" states. His policies aren't extreme. They speak to the well-being of the middle class, the backbone of America.

I will say it a different way. He will fail. Central planning does not work. Look at what the Federal Reserve is doing, look at all these bailouts, look at this monster stimulus package, and look at all the money we are spending overseas. All are failing. Where are we getting all this money from? The government has no money they can only print it. Big inflation is coming, and a collapse in the dollar will be the only "change" we see from Obama.

China has more of a free market than we do. They are moving toward more economic freedom, not less like us.
Also if it is your view that a select elite few in a far distant capitol can run your life and the lives of every one else better than we can run them ourselves I pity you and I pity America. We used to be a nation built on liberty and individualism. I find it sad what is happening here. The last great hope for mankind is dying.

1, we have ALWAYS been a nation built on elites - despite what the propaganda you listen to tells you over and over and over again until you believe it. Our forefathers were good men who just happened to own slaves while they spoke of individual liberties.
