how the fuck can you put 8million all down to tax credit advisors? FOOL most over payments are from people who just do NOT update records properly. yes advisors make mistakes which get corrected and money repaid. also please remember

any changes you may have tell them. i worked tax credits for a brief period i also claim them which means i know what to fill in.

how the fuck can you say im bias to anyone. yes the system has problems. what everyone seems to forget is this isnt a benifit and if were arnt kept upto date then entitlement can be lost. not informing tax credits for six seven months then will lead to over payments. how about you start getting people to look over there awards instead of the back page that tell you how much money your getting then all these overpayments might just go down

For a start, leave the foul language out of it or Ill remove your posts. Re TC. You pointed out yourself that you used to work for them so you know what to fill in the forms. This so called benefit works like no other in the country, people arent used to it, neither are staff whose work we are supposed to check. And you are only talking about one type of overpayment. We dont defend neglect, we do defend against bills no one knew they were risking or caused by incompetent administration.

Anyone reading this if you don't get tax credits believe me don't bother because HMRC will no doubt co*k it up and you will end up like the rest of us victims, Stressed out, suicidal, and struggling to stay financially affloat.

We do do something about it. We run a support and campaign group helping thousands to understand what happened and defend their rights. We lobby government for change. Meet with opposition parties. Partnership work with other organisations. Host a huge website and forum for victims to meet and discuss and we represent peoples cases to HMRC and the courts. Its IT companies like fujitsu services who promises HMRC that they can deliver a good system but in reality deliver very poor and substandard system that never works end to end! Fujitsu services does NOT have the skills to make a streamline system but still charge the government and the tax payer alot of money for its mediocre attempt.

It isnt HMRC but Fujitsu Services currently have the contract for supplying IT services to HMRC that is at fault. In netherton(liverpool) where they process tax credit forms & CIS forms the managers there employ users to key this data into their system without even security checks & people who claim newtax credit have their details sent over email by IT staff without any security enabled, plus peoples details are recorded on CD-roms and left lying around in unlocked cupboards.

Also there was newtax claiments details internally copied by users but breaches like this are never highlighted to HMRC and covered up! HMRC should be made aware of the sloppy practices of Fujitsu services and if they renew the contract with them, it will cost them dearly both in money and security.
