You know the notes now get the phrasing correct. Anticipation and lag to create the emotion rather than just a sequence of notes.

I don't understand why people are so afraid of reverb. It's a stylistic choice. If every guitarist played with a completely dry tone, we wouldn't have the spacy, dreamy sounds of Pink Floyd and countless other bands. Is it too electronic for you? Then play an acoustic guitar. Is it not enough like the original Hendrix version? SRV's take was a bit different and I think it turned out alright.

ACTUALLY jimi used none of reverb in this classic. more flanger too. AND you should use a LOT more hammer ons. Jimi didnt use pick much.

@Mamertum345 Obviously he is learning to use his gear, or WAS when this was posted back in 2008. Why do you feel the need to insult a young guitarist in the midst of experimentation? Do you realize how difficult it can be to create a good tone? As a guitarist who shares actual content on YouTube and uses the site for something other than to berate fellow musicians, I'll say that I don't think his tone is that bad. It's a highly subjective matter anyhow.

Salut, excellente technique pour les deux mains et vraiment très précis comme résultat, le seul problème c'est tes réglages mais je suis sur que si tu joué avec les réglages approprié ça serait parfait, trop de réverbération.

it sounds a bit choppy, try grabbing the bass notes with your thumb over the neck instead of using your index cause it will be easer to grab all those extra notes.keep practicing man still sounds pretty good!
