Thank you for constantly reminding me that prophecies are literal and not spiritual, I still have to fight that ingrained teaching that it is spiritual, and then also the hopelessness you feel that comes with that baloney. I am learning so much watching these videos - thank you David, Nathan and Dennis. Another wonderful episode.
christ-mass is pagan and has nothing to do with Messiah Yeshua.
The church in Thyatira will be cast into the tribulation because of her spiritual fornication - including using pagan celebrations to worship God (like Aaron did with the golden calf)
@BlueAeroCinnamon Hi, I agree with you that the Holiday has many pagan aspects to it.
I don't celebrate the holiday itself, but the idea of what it stands for. Anyone who has looked into it knows that Jesus wasn't born on Dec 25th. But if we hold on to the idea that He did come and the reason was to show us Salvation. I don't get upset about people celebrating it. I try to use it as an opportunity to proclaim the truth of Jesus day!
@6883a927 Read the Old Testament. EVERY time Ancient Israel used pagan practices to worship God, He was upset with them. He said to not mix pagan practices with worship of Him. Just because you claim "It is for Jesus" does not make it right or acceptable to Him. He tells the church in Thyatira to stop worshiping their babylonian "gods" claiming it is for Him or He will cast them into the tribulation.
