  • May God Bless You Both John Ankerberg and William Lane Craig for doing what you do!

thank you for teaching me the true Christian Faith, thank you so much!!!

    God Bless You!!!

  • If we were to discuss an event that happened 4000 yrs ago, we would say, "This happened 2000 BC, or BCE. If we wanted to discuss an event of 1500 yrs ago, we'd say such and such took place 500 AD, or CE.

To say Jesus never existed, is to imply that the entire world was universally duped into counting time based around the life of someone who was never here. If thats what you believe, I'm certain the only thing left to convince you is hell fire. So just be patient, your proof is coming.

  • Hi, Dzonrid. There IS evidence for Jesus both in and outside of the gospels. Non-biblical sources referring to Christ and his followers include Josephus, Pliny the Younger, Tacitus, and Seutonius. And don't forget that by 64 A.D. - only 30 years after Jesus died - emperor Nero was already burning Christians in his garden; Christians who followed Christus, who according to Tacitus "suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberius at the hands of one of our procurators, Pontius Pilatus."

  • WLC Rocks!

  • IF The Gospel of Caesar Augustus tells that he was born from a virgin. Should I approach it with an open mind?

  • @Dzonrid No. Approach it with evidence. Why is that so hard for people to figure out?

  • @drcraigvideos Dr Craig said that one should approach NT Gospels with an open mind. The evidence of the existence of Caesar Augustus (outside the gospel) is obvious. You cannot say the same about Jesus of Nazareth.

  • @Dzonrid Why not? No reputable historian would say that there is no historical evidence for Jesus. Drop the Christ Myth junk and embrace reality: watch?v=zdqJyk-dtLs

  • @drcraigvideos I'm not at all pro-Christ myth theory. I'm just saying that gospels are literature which contain myths and historical figures.

  • @Dzonrid To answer your first question, sure! I'd like to see any other miracle claim that has early, multiple independent eyewitness testimony by people (including former skeptics) whose lives were transformed by that event to the point that they were willing to die rather than recant their testimony.

  • @Dzonrid way to only watch the first minute-and-a-half of the video >_>

  • If superman was a Christian and had super debating skills instead of super strength... he would be william lane craig. I mean they share the same hair, lips, jaw and chin!!! WLC is... super apologist! Able to leap athiest qustions in a single bound! LOL

  • @impactproformance LOL, good stuff!

  • Very enlightening conversation...thanks for the upload!

  • Excellent video and presentation of the historicity of Jesus.

I have a question though about You Tube. Why do they list to the side many more drcraigvideos entries and some other links to Dr. Craig's appearances but then at the bottom have the Chuck Norris WoW commercial?

  • 10 bucks says all of the thumbs downs are from atheists who didn't watch the full video.

  • Dr. William Lane Craig makes atheists look like complete morons. I love it.

  • This was a great interview. John Ankerberg is great at conducting interviews. Professor Craig was able to address many of the deeper issues at hand. The discussion of methodology was key. Craig was scholarly and genteel as usual. Thanks for uploading.

  • /watch?v=RKIoTeTQolU

  • no wonder atheists dont want to debate this guy, he knows how to sift through their bullshit

  • At about 1:02:20 Craig destroys the thesis defended by Matt Dilahunty and his other pundits. Their view is based on a presupposition of what history is and not on the evidence nor facts of the life of Our Lord.

  • This is a intellectually beautiful interview.

    Thanks for sharing Drcraigvideos!

  • What was the exact date this was recorded?

  • @Crosshair84 2001

  • @sheikzelda Yea I know that. I was kinda wondering if it was recorded before or after Sept 11.

  • This is one of Dr. Craig's best videos. Ankerberg gets past the shallow soundbyte format of the debates and helps show the real depth of Dr. Craig's knowledge.

  • The computer in the background is running Windows 98 lol

  • @95TurboSol its from 2001 afterall.

  • Watched the entire segment. Liked and added to favorites.

  • I love how Dr. Craig is quick to point out which resurrection hypotheses aren't held by scholars anymore. What's ironic is that we have to deal with these garbage, ad hoc, naturalistic hypotheses on a daily basis on youtube.

Dr. Craig gave good advice once: If you want proof positive that the new atheists (and their puppets on youtube) are out of touch; check their sources. They're all antiquated and abandoned by those who are trained in the matters.. If only YT skeptics did any homework.

  • @empreme AHAHAHAHAHAHAH AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Hold on a second, I need to hold my sides

    AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • @RabornTau lol what?

  • @RabornTau I assume your laughter is to hide your embarrassment from endorsing one of these views? It's okay, but I'd prefer that you actually add something to the discussion. I will admit though: Youtube did not inform me of your comment.

Apparently Youtube also thinks your banter is useless.

  • Who else thinks Craig should grow his beard back?

But more on topic: great video!

  • @D3uscaritas3st He shaved clean when he noticed gray strands.

  • @D3uscaritas3st

His beard strikes fear into everyone, even Chuck Norris was afraid

  • @HELLawaitsall59 LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @D3uscaritas3st

I think he looked more scholarly that way :-)!

  • @D3uscaritas3st

I actually found a facebook group called "William Lane Craig has a reasonable beard" (or at least used to have) some days ago ;-)

  • @D3uscaritas3st Yeah that man knows how to grow a good beard! I'm quite jealous of it

  • i was just talking about the historical evidence for jesus with a friend of mine, how convenient!

  • Thanks for the upload - looking forward to watching that now :-)

  • Probably WLC's best video I've seen. I'm sure most atheists and naturalists would never have the patience to sit through this almost two-hour interview.

  • @BachScholar No kidding.

  • @BachScholar

4 people didn't watch the whole video.

  • @BachScholar And yet, I'm one hour and 17 mins into listening to it so far. But you're right, far too many atheists won't even give WLC a listen, which is a shame.

  • @BachScholar yeah and you know why? because of the first 2 minutes!! well obviously if i am to read harry potter with an open mind and be able to convince myself that it might happen then yeah i could believe in harry potter! no proof needed! but since for religion against science, there needs to be science in the picture to contradicts it.. and THERE IS science and it works, then yeah i can deduce that reading it with "open mind" as he intened will make you believe.. even if its all bull!

  • @BachScholar

    Well, at least one did.

  • Craig is so amazing!

  • This Interview is articulated extremely well, do yourself a favor and watch the entire thing!
