We warned the Japanese people about the bomb. We dropped little papers over the city of Hiroshima that told them to get the Japanese empire to surrender. They didnt. It was a tough decision to drop that bomb. I dont think they ''deserved'' it. But it took 2 bombs. The Japanese are very smart people. And they are definitaly not quitters.

You have to try and remember that this was a different time and although it was a tragic event it wasn't supposed to happen the way it did. The Japanese could not relay the message fast enough to the Americans. The message was supposed to be delivered 1 hour before the attack on Pearl. The Japanese attacked thinking they were doing it with honor. That is why Yamamoto said, " I'm affraid all we have done is awakened a sleeping giant and filled him with a terrible resolve." Just try not to hate.
