who ever is doing tat double jab dont know anything abt punch...i dont know why wing chun ppl always make their student to punch like boxers in unrealastic way n always try to beat them....jab is most difficult thing to block..it just comes n goes in blink of eye..and tat double jab is rediculous..why is he not moving front while doing double jab coz his grand master dont know how to defent tat one
no disrespect cause i do get where your coming from but this is just a demo to give a general idea of the application of the technique he likes. Although i must agree with you that a jab is hard to block but we all no that in a real fight you go off of straight reaction and i personally have never encountered a jab that i couldnt work around. remember real fighting as you should know is all about timing and angle of attack
The guy throwing the punch isn't a boxer so why expect it to look like boxing? This is simply a demo. Now we do have a pro boxer, a golden gloves boxer and other full contact fighter in our NJ school who can throw a good jab.;-)
I know in wing tsun the defence and attack are at the same time and that is something that gives superiority over other systems, karate for example. Cheung claims the same about his system (defence and attack at the same time), although what someone can see here is that you need one time for defence and one for attack. That is something that makes you (in general) not so fast against any opponent that moves very fast,as a good boxer does. Unless your opponent gives a punch and stays there frozen
