  • I just wanna say people thumping vinyl all day and bashing instrument users and dj can go suck it! You guys are behind the curve! technology has brought us "kids" great things! Now we are no longer stuck listening to eminem and 50 cent! Instead we can make better music in our bedrooms! And let the best music win! Suck on that! The only time I would use vinyl is if I was recording from it! Like into ableton to later sample that shit up! Fuck all y'all gay ass mutherfuckers who don't believe in

  • Nice!!! I like how the buttons light up with the beat.

  • just wanna say i haven't even bought a dj controller yet so i don't exactly know what you guys are bitching about, people who say "this thing looks crap" thats because not every dj in the world started off with ddj t1's with serato itch, so quit hating coz this is a great controller in my opinion.

  • Man i want to get one of these..I wanna be like Skrillex or Dubstep of some sort

  • HOLY SHIT I CAN PLAY 2 SONGS AT THE SAME SPEED FUCK YEAH!

  • can u hook turn tables up??

  • What songs are these?

If it is listed at the end of the video I'm sorry

  • I'm thinking of getting this, have not even approached mixing in about 4 or 5 years though so hmm... A tad out of practice!

  • Really shit question but i'm thinking of getting this and wondering if I could put my ipod in and record or play music of it? can't find an answer at the minute

  • @TheBenjaminge I think you should get the Numark iDJ3. It's $100 less but only has simple controls. But it has a direct link in the centre for iPods and iPhones.

  • @FTWOllie Thanks, but i've ordered this, it was just for at parties and gigs because some of my mates throw me their iPod sometimes requesting a track. It would just be handy, thanks though man and great review!

  • Real dj are still playing records, not instruments.

  • OK, I'm not a Technics 1200 pro, as the ol' school guard is... I respect that, however, to knock the capabilities of highly accurate / sensitive touch and pressure sensitive platters is dumb. Those will real vinyl skills may actually find their abilities improve. Having owned Traktor S4 (no rewire to ableton live), I almost bought the Xponent again, but chose the ADJ VMS 4.1 for the standalone mixer and better platters. NI Traktor S4 would be amazing if they allowed VST or Rewire.

  • Interesting, I'm still trying to decide between this and VMS4. Can you uses this with four decks. I would like to see a video on that.

  • Does it work for macbookpro to?

  • i love how people talk about 'scratching' with the jog wheels lol. you always know the scrub noob bedroom djs cause they're the ones talking about scratching with a fucking jog wheel lol

  • I had this for a while while I was starting, it it by fr one of the best controllers out there.

Will.i.am uses it daily for his sets.

  • i'm a torq user, and i want this thing so bad. but the traktor s2 looks so sexy.

  • i got this controller and its amazing thing

  • does any one know how to get the song to play back immediately after you pause it because i feel this is holding back my scratching cuz theres a slight delay when you let off where a vinyl starts playing instantly when you tap(pause) or like trying to scratch samples

  • @djivimix I HAVE HERCULES....it rulls....but this torq Xponent is not bad....because he has more buttons....i use hercules rmx with my novation launchpad because i love to play with cues and loops...but rmx doesn have enough buttons (FOR ME)

  • @djdokser do you like ur hercules? im thinking off geting it but idk

  • @killzall13 like a told....it is very nice and cool....but when i mix i use novation launchpad for my cue points, effects, and loops... it is of metal (very good)....but rmx has very small joggwells so not so good for scratching and (for me) too little buttons... but everything else is nice, good outputs and rca cabel outputs, 2 outputs for headphones, 2 inputs for mic, very nice faders and knobs...

  • @djdokser okay thanks i just want more parameters for loops :P

  • @djivimix. I have been using the xponent for over a year and it is great. I wouldn't replace it with anything. I use it with Torq and still use all my hardware.

  • it looks like a mega -therion

  • I love how peeps start off with thousands of dollars worth of djing stuff when most peeps get pawn shop dj equiptment! Chill out all be happy with what u have and who you have ! Peace :)

  • help my effectors are not working ;(

  • I got one and I´m pretty satisfied. Great tool;

  • How did he get it to flash?

  • ARE YOU KIDDING ME THIS BETTER THANRMX BIG TIME GO FUCKYOURSELF DJVIMIX DONT KNOW SHIT DOES THE FUCKING RMX HAVE A FILTER NO

  • MYN COMING IN 3 DAYS :) VERY HAPPY

  • i love how everyone's saying that this looks like a piece of crap. to all the pricks out there bitching, not everyone started out with pioneer 2000's and serato in their hands. people will always need a place to start. now yes no one opening for tiesto will be using one of these but people who aspire to do that will be using this to get there.

  • @AlabamaIron no-body who djs is going to be opening up for tiesto...look into music *production*

  • @MCDEVVOMAN Yeah exactly lol. Someone who just DJ's isn't going to open for Tiesto or an equivalent bigshot DJ. and really if you produce music and play live, it doesn't matter what gear you use if your productions are good quality

  • @AlabamaIron Best comment yet! ;)

  • @djivimix If your audience preffers to look at your equipment rather then listen to it, don't buy it!

  • shit man turn off the echo or whatever effect that is on your voice

  • Are you serious? they are all crap ... are half as useful as Xponent

  • are u serious? all of then are shit... are like a hafl useful compared to the xponent

  • that thing looks like a toy compared to a cdj or ddj

  • @djivimix nope, I've got Typhoon and compared to Xponent, THAT is a piece of crap.

  • @horakjara i also buy a Vestax Typhoon, but i dont have it at the time, it comes soon.. can you explain me what the Typhoon is better about? i see this product(torq) and it looks like if it has a lot of more functions.

    Thanks for Response.

    Cheers

  • @horakjara Real DJs use vinyl

i would liove to give all ye bashers on here a set of technics 1210 and see how good ye can mix

  • This dude needs a lem-sip

  • ill stick to my serato and turntables.

  • Watch=>

    /watch?v=7aNKnU8Dv68

    GRET VID

  • Loving how the subtitles haha :-)

  • @djivimix its not about looks its about skill.

  • @djivimix agreed, but i used an RMX for a few months and it's nowhere near as capable as the xponent i have now. besides that, you're usually the only one to see the thing when you're playing it live.

  • @majinforcecore yeah mate i get your point. It is reliable and with nice specs, and it is M-AUDIO, which is a synonym for quality, but my comment was on the overall look. Its made of plastic with dozens of colorful buttons. In that sense it is a toy. It just doesn't look pro. Now you will tell me that appearance doesn't matter if the specs and quality is good, but it matters to me.

  • Bring back the days of two decks & a mixer.

  • $600 for a toy? NO THANKS. The Numark Mixtrack costs a fraction of the price and still looks way more professional.

  • @djivimix Yeah well any good DJ knows that the sound of your mixes isn't consequential to the aesthetics of your controller. I have tens of thousands of dollars worth of equipment, and M-Audio is the best company I've ever bought from. Great hardware, great software, great price.

  • @djivimix

It's got it's pros and cons. Too many cons for my liking. I own one and while I have had fun just making straight mixes, trying to do everything that this guy is doing in the video, is a major pain in the ass. It's good to use in a pinch if you need some reliable hardware, but that's about it.

  • hi! the track list? thanks =)

  • @djivimix I was just about to say that lol. The layout and colors on this look ugly as sin, too cramped, and too plasticy.

  • @djivimix but its much better than those shits you mentioned ;)

  • I have just bought one for myself, in short time's coming on my desk here in RO. I can't wait dor it !!!

  • @djivimix Don't even start with the hercules if you wanna DJ get real turntables or CDJs.

  • @XtremeProdigyX gimme 2000 bucks now and ill buy cdjs, and do what? the same shit i do on turntables or midi console

  • just bought this and am SOOOOOOOOOOOO PUMPED

  • what are the names of tracks you use?

  • @djivimix it has alot more features than the rmx but is in the same price range the vestax 300 is like 200 quid more expensive and the s4 is like £750 so obviously its gonna look shit compared to them. for the price i think this is great value a good way to start off djing

  • What's the name of the first song?

  • I just bought the xponent and started to use it but I can't hear any songs playing through my headphones any suggestions how to do it? please help

  • @AceOfSpadesx94 activate the headphones listen button - it's green and on the top left and right sides of the controller. Then increase the cue volume, bottom middle two knobs.

  • can you only use this for torqe? will it work for ableton? or serato?

  • @4evrDrum this is a controller, you sure you want to use it for ableton? doesnt make sence...

  • does it work well with traktor pro?

  • I'm getting one of these soon used from a friend for 40 xD woot

  • can anyone tell me if this is maped for traktor? lookin to get a vestax vci 100 or one of these. not sure what to do. can anyone give me some advice

  • I guess abot $ 500

  • how musch is that?

  • Is the beat repeat and wind down a default effect on the software?

  • I'm 14 and I want 1is tht thing complicated.........ps ur music sounds good

  • @frank0nh it's not complicated

it's really easy to use because the software (Torq) works perfect and is laid out just like the Xponent

  • Great video. Thanks!

  • how much is this?

  • @russythecondition average range : 320-400GBP

  • is there an audio out for speakers?

  • nice think

  • American Audio Vms4 is soo much better !

Look up the specs on google

  • what is, the prise for M-Audio ?

  • can someone explain what the transform buttons do?

  • does this work on club speakers ?

  • @fadyadelnageeb of course lol .. rca to mixer, then so on ie mixer > pre/amp > fuckin huge speakers! lol

  • lets say if we want to hook this thing w/ some speakers or stage mixer would that work instantly? or should we have another additional gear?? and could it work w/ serato scratch or virtual dj??

  • AAMS Auto Audio Mastering System (google for it)

  • Man i seen this thing b4...CHEAP QUALITY MATERIAL LIKE THIN PLASTIC U WOULD SEE AT THE 99 CENT STORE...no where near worth 500 or 600....i wouldnt pay 300 for this..M-Audio sucks ass...go with Vinyls

  • how much can i get it for?

and where can i find it??

    "please answere"

  • @jashepo google.co.uk!

  • is there a HPF and LPF?

  • hello I would have a little problem I nn does kaos pad

Could you tell me how it's done? thanks

  • mi ci sto trovando malissimo

  • Do you think you can help me out with the type of driver I may need to install the software correctly? I keep getting a message about windows xp sp2 I am running it on windows 7 64 bit. Thanks

  • cool deck but ,how much it cost this console?

  • @chichuf from thomann its 489€ (dont know the price in $ sry)

  • What is the best controller please , if money was no option??

  • @adamennis999 NS7! Go for that if moneys not a problem:)

  • @tranjohn but whats about the space ^^

  • @tranjohn the N7 is really not worth the money. The New Denon would be the only all i one unit for $800. The Xponent is available retail $500. The only drawback to Xponent no mike input

  • @zutilol yeah i seen the new denon but what program does it come with?

  • is this the perfect midi controller ? full of all features ?

  • CAN I CONNECT TORQ XPONENT TO AN IMAC DESKTOP?

  • hey i currently use torq connective with the soundcard and the timecoded vinyl and all that and i wonder if i can use the soundcard in the xponent instead of the connective soundcard? in order to use the torq software properly id say i need some sort of controller but i still need the virtual vinyl to my turntables.

btw, i use an external mixer.

oh and great review, i recomend torq to everyone!

  • @mange96 no it has its own sound card

  • n1 voice

  • is it possible to loop using the effects dial in place of the buttons? I know it sounds like a weird request but I'd really appreciate a reply if anyone knows that it can be done :3

  • nice tuturial thumbs up

  • Can you change the way the lights flash to the beat, i.e. to off? I can imagine that getting really annoying pretty fast

  • @randomguy434 yehh you can

  • @randomguy434 Yep, you can remove it ;)

  • @randomguy434 yes u can switch it off

  • Yes you can and yes they get very annoying lol

  • @randomguy434 yes you can... lol it only flashes with torq anyway not Vdj or Traktor..

  • @randomguy434

You can make it so it remains illuminated but not flashing in sync with beat. Personally doesn't get annoying after a while.

  • @randomguy434 yes you can, I always switch mine to off

  • i got this controler. well...

the lights dont flash like this normally! he modded it. =)

  • @Tubemaster32 hey mate i've got to ask you, is it true what they say about its sliders like giving no backward push(if u can see what i mean). if its not ok, if it is, is it annoying?

  • @Tubemaster32 you have to turn it on in the Torq-Options

  • @randomguy434 yeah just turn christmas mode off in the option section. i like it though, it woks with my light show.

  • @randomguy434 yes, you can disable the lights.

  • @CS5n531 Can you keep the lights always on? Instead of them flashing?

  • @randomguy434 yes you can, it was the first thing I did to mine!

  • @randomguy434 ive heard that they either go with the beat, stay on, or stay off

  • @randomguy434 Yes, you can set them to stay on steady.

  • M audio is not good anymore spend your money elsewhere see my video response

  • me encanta pero una pregunta

    puede controlar virtual dj?

    o scrach live?

quisisera saber si puede controlar esos dos programas

    grasias

  • That was awesome!! Great job and you rock on your MPC! Where are you getting your drum sounds from? I get mine right now from Drumsoundz(dot)com and I get all my samples there. Anyone know of any other good places?

  • Don't buy this mine lasted 15 minutes until the internal audio card blew out and on top of that they don't give you support without a support code which you either purchase or get one complimentary one. You cannot even talk to a live person without it. Also the Fast Track Pro is incompatible with this the driver stomps the Xponents Driver. Check the forums you'll see all the problems this thing has...

  • whats the price of this controller?

  • I need some helpful suggestions, i recently got the xponent but i have an amp that has bare wire and the 1/4 inch connections, anyone know how to rig it up with the xponent.????

  • good controller but i would not pay £300 quid

  • is this a good starter set?

  • @DubSouljah1991 get the numark idj3

it does everything cds mp3 ipods very easy to use

    its 400 canadian

  • keren jg cara belajarnya bagai mana

  • hola

  • what about showing some screen shots of what's on screen?

  • Trakyor control s4

  • Xone4d is the best!

  • :|

Why get that when you could get a good DJM

  • Lol this dude's voice + the music = sounded like some techno remix lol

  • Obsolete. Looks like a childs plastic toy.

    Bring on Traktor Kontrol s4......

  • How much does that go for?

  • does this work with any other type of dj software other than Torq ?

  • @DJShortgino yes, I use it with traktor pro

  • i cant seem to download thier suit, so I use virtual dj. But where do I get songs like this? Is this considered techno? I just want to know where I can get these tunes.

  • @UrbanArtifact Yeah this is techno, could be some random type. A good artist to check out like this is Boys Noize.

  • Does anyone know how many computers you are able to install the torq program on?

  • this suuuuucks!!! since the release of numarks Ns7, why would you want this crap????

  • @bigdooby1

Probably the absolutely MASSIVE price difference if I had to guess?

  • @braiinchild i guess, i had it an i really did not like it

  • @bigdooby1 yeah so did i, i thought it was very cheesy and overpriced too small just like all the others, numark did it with the ns7!!! perfect size and motorized platters, that ol jog wheel mess is crap.

  • @braiinchild my friend got one bought a used one. nothing wrong with it for a little over $200

  • @cris5949 same here :)

  • @bigdooby1 the ns7 is 1500 euros and this one here is 500 euros. its a big difference for someone with a tight budget

  • @catman4444

ns7 is similar to a timecode vinyl setup

ns7 has rotating platters which are vinyl which people love.

  • @catman4444 i guess but i would rather just to be patient and save up for a more power unit, i had this piece for about 2 months and i just was not pleased, after all i come from the vinyl era so the motorized patters on the ns7 take it straight ol school.

  • @bigdooby1 oh, yeah. if money is not an option, then ns7 is defo the way to go. from the budget ones i was satisfied with the vestax one, but cant beat the vinyl feel ;)

  • Comment removed

  • @bigdooby1 So you can play like The Bloody Beetroots.

  • The fast song mixed in @5:00 untill the end is "h-man - 51 poland street (extrawelt remix)

  • Sounds like 51 Poland Street by Extrawelt to me!

  • name the title track. please

  • I just got mine! woop woop.

having trouble loading the effects, the folder appears to be empty....

  • yo i just got this shit and cant install the software

  • @MoojMajik try with VDJ

  • What's MIDI ?

  • @SirFlavi Musical Instrument Digital Interface

  • @SirFlavi what i've learned from this world, MIDI means that you can use it as a controlller for Software On Pc like Traktor, Virtual DJ, Ableton etc etc etc, means that moving the jog wheel on the Controller will move the wheel on the software for example, hope this is <.<

  • dos it work on virtual dj?

  • @popopopopopo8 it comes with its own full software, so you dont have to worry about compatability

  • @LeoLing33192 what software is it?

  • @onesixlovee torq

  • @onesixlovee m audio torq

  • Nice
