As for the rest of you Green Peace hippies, there are some cases where these are inappropriate, but there are also some cases where it is. I had a Pitbull/Jack Russel mix dog that needed one of these to break his bad habits. Dog training specialists couldn't even handle him and told me this would be one of the only solutions. It does work. It ISN'T barbaric, you ignorant Philestine. Some animals are just harder to train and require an extra edge. I will admit they're used too liberally, though.
