@TheHatInaCat Yes. In my opinion, blizzard tried too hard at making them look "cool". I really liked the more fleshy, pinkish, bleeding, beating zerg, not this purple stuph we have. I really hate the overlord icon everywhere, it's ridiculous and should not be the thing representing the zerg. The eyeball looked way better. I liked the zerg because they looked nightmarish and disgusting. Glowing eyes were cool, but they overdid this in starcraft 2, as well as the emphasis on purple.

Well you're right there about the purple, and the eye was boss. But I was talking about StarCraft Ghost cut scenes Vs StarCraft 2 cut scenes because I thought thats what you were referring to. I really like how the Hydralisk looked in the gameplay that they showed.

the reason the got cancelled is also because when it was almost finished for the Xbox/Playstation 2... the Xbox 360 was about to launch and the PS3 was also getting tons of attention.

Blizzard always wants to sell at least a million copies of their game and that wouldn't have worked with starcraft: ghost as that generation of consoles was becoming obsolete. So they rather dumped the game, then have a "failed" launch that would screw up their history as a company :)

@Tetarkall I think the reason they didnt was because, Blizzard is a better RTS then 3rd/1st person shooter. I think they should let someone else produce it, but blizz publishes it. @thor123422 Well it's not really single-player Starcraft, it's a 3rd person shooter in the Starcraft universe. There is tons of story behind Blizzard games and this was just another way for them to tell part of that story.

@skilletno1 There are different factions in the Terran race. Just like today, just because we're all human doesn't mean we don't kill each other. I'm not too up on the Starcraft lore but I think there are like 4 different Terran factions that come into play at one time or another.

Guys, honestly... Starcraft Ghost was a project for Nintendo's GameCube only, Blizzard had a contract with 'em, they made StarCraft64 for the N64 and when GameCube was released they wanted to make a StarCraft for this, game was announced and trailers was made but the game was never released because the contract was terminated, so you see, they will NEVER release this game ;)

Actually, Blizzard refuses to list StarCraft : Ghost canceled it's just "not in our interests at this moment" I suspect they will countinue with Ghost after Diablo 3 or maybe even Starcraft 2

StarCraft would have been so much better than Halo in every category because:

1) StarCraft has: Zerg, Terran, and Protoss. Halo has: Humans vs Aliens.

2) StarCraft has: many heroes and characters - each one very important. Halo has: Master Chief and a few other characters.

3) StarCraft takes place on: MANY worlds. Halo takes place on: ...well, the Halos, and the alien homeworld, maybe Earth? (Idk)

4) I personally think StarCraft has a way better storyline than Halo.

1) Halo has: Flood, UNSC, Covenant. which is pretty much parasitic lifeform like zerg, spacemarines, advanced alien race

2)Halo has: A dozen spartans, Arbiter, ODST's, Prophets, Brutes and important humans

3) Halo technically takes place in many places. It's just the masterchief's adventures were specifically on the halo rings.

4) arguable, but simply an opinion.

I have slightly more respect for Halo's story cause MC is a closet badass :P.

have patience, blizz wanted to explore the next gen graphic capabilities so they suspended the project. not entirely sure if the production isscrapped. but its not like blizz to make a halfass game n throw it out there. so far all thier games are still being played till today, SC1 and Warcraft3 / WoW series are still being played after all these years. sides theyre alrdy concentrating on 2 more upcoming hits. so i guess its going to be a long while more till any sign of SC ghost
