  • what was the name of the temple at the begging?

  • Yes....we bought the music CD there, but didn't know it wasn't traditional Lao music. Still, for this purpose, it works. We'll know better next time.

  • The music is like Sri lanka or Sinhala. But what ever, is beautiful. Love the instruments.

  • I'm Isan people in Thailand

but we think we are Lao not Thai

i am proud for laos. Keep your culture forever. we are the same one

Maybe we are make future together. :D

  • a chinga donde esta el tao

  • The more I see or read about Laos, the faster I wanna go there,I hope to be there fast, even this summer, before it starts too change...

  • do it, you won't be disappointed! seriously! nature at some of it's best! thankfully it's not "changing" too fast.

  • I am going in July,as a part of a trip to SE-Asia,first to see Angkor Vat in Cambodia, but it looks like Laos is going to be a very nice surprise,it might be even better!

  • I was there,and it left very deep impressions,fantastic landscapes,very friendly people,good food&drinks !!

The Lao people are for ever in my heart!!

  • Thesimsonizer,

I am very appreciated for recommending our country as one of the great place to visit. I love the music too, but I was wondering what language is the song, and its meaning?

  • I have to admit that I don't have details for the music. I bought it in Luang Prabang in 2005 but now can't find the disk or case. Sorry.

  • what the heck is the language?

  • nice view ... you make me love my country more ^^

  • wow thanx

  • I never heard spoken language of Nepal. But the lyric of the song sound a lot like Pali, which is the language of the Buddha. So, it have some sort of connection to Laos.

  • nice picture of laos...but the music is not from lao...would have been a nice pic-deo if the music were laotian...

  • Our next stop was Kathmandu, Nepal...where we bought the music as "authentic Laotion." Still, it's cool.

  • These pictures are AMAZING!! .....but, um, this music isn't LAOTIAN!!! What's up with that?

  • Hahahaha! Its nice picture from Laos

but where is the song from? that is funny
