  • i finally managed to find this stuff but it's $45 at the local parts store...

  • I bet the sandpaper is cheaper. Probably takes the same amount of time as well. So sandpaper is probably the better choice for this step.

  • What backing plate are you using in the video it seems like its very flexible?

  • @dman856 for the W5000 twisted wool fibers, it does not have a backing plate for it.

  • Meguiars makes the best products for paint work by far.

I am hoping to take the step over to rotary one day, and the pro series!

  • i like m105...i worked it by hand on my black car and it work perfectly....5 stars

  • can the w 5000 woll double sided pad be used with the dual action polisher

  • @1pinoys no it cannot, it is only for a rotary machine. For the DA machine, we only recommend the yellow or black soft buff 2.0 pad for it.

  • can it be used on a single stage paint ? as well as the rest of the compounds ?

  • @faisalabulaziz1 yes it can

  • @meguiarsasia

    thank you for yur answer...

  • Nice finish, but may I suggest using a little masking tape around the edges of bodywork to avoid the risk of burn through, been finishing these cars for almost 20 years and own one, meguiars is an excellent product, keep up the good work! 5 stars

  • What products do you offer that gives the paint a nice gloss reflective shine. Im working on a electric blue color but i cant get the so reflective shine!

  • @tylan13chuck some popular products we have in the pro range that have awesome shine are M26 and M80. If you want longer lasting...use M21 2.0.

  • jaw drops........then jaws dances along with the ending song of this clip,,,,

  • so once you wax on you wax it off by using a towl cause my buffer came wit two cloths one looks like to put on the wax and the other is nice and smooth and like soft and i think thats the one to take it off to make it shine correct me if i am wrong ... im just confused on how to take off the wax

  • to apply wax you can apply it by foam rotary pad around 1000 rpms, or BEST by DA with a foam finishing pad or even by hand with a foam applicator pad. If you use a towel, most of the product will be absorbed into the towel so foam is best. To take off, use a clean microfiber towel thats folded...to remove break the surface once and then return on a new side in circular movements to remove any small wax residue left. To remove, wait til it feels non greasy.

  • alright thanks

  • Do you have any experience with air pressure buffing machines? I wonder since these seem lighter and less noisy? Comments appreciated,

  • yes I do and they are great for sanding and also applying certain products. The only down side is that it is expensive with an air compressor and also being careful of the cord bouncing into the side paint since that can potentially cause scratching. There are many different models you can use with an Air tool from 3 inch to 6 inch, and many models depending where in the world you live and work. If you have specific questions, send me a message. :)

  • meguiars is the best ? i m using meguiars befor 3 years the best brand

  • does speed glaze do the same thing or not

  • Hi There....No Speed Glaze does not do the same thing

  • i commented on you other video about what i should use can you tell me if this will work on a greenish blue 1996 nissan altima because the paint is in fairly good condition

  • yes this would work, but it is for professionals....I gave you a consumer recommendation on your other commented video

  • i just bought a porter cable polisher and see alot of ppl in videos using the makita polisher and a wool pad to use the 105 with amazing results, my question is what pad should i use the 105 with on my PC polisher to get similar results as i couldnt afford the makita just yet maybe ill make the step up in a few years once i get better at polishing paintwork.

  • when it comes to rotary machines....it really comes down to personal preference on the weight and feel of the machine. It is going to depend on what type of result you want and also what type of surface you are dealing with to start with. M105 is approved for rotary, DA, orbital use.....normally with a rotary, either our W5000, W4000 or our W7207 pad works well!
