obesity is NOT hereditary. you can inherit a big bone structure, or a tendancy to gain weight easily from your parents, but its no excuse for being morbidly obese. human bodies are not designed to function properly when they're carrying so much weight around - I wish people would stop pretending that obesity is just an aesthetic issue and recognise that its a serious health problem.
