I expected to see something more advanced than upgraded Soviet weapons. The TR-85M1 is ok as an interim solution until a modern 4th generation MBT is purchased. The SA-2 Dvina/Volkhov the SA-125 and the KUB should be at museum and the MiG-21 LanceR´s replacement (although a fairly good upgrade) should be sped up. The acquisition of the Hawk XXI and of the two ex-British frigates was a good idea(still you had better options for the same buck). Any F-16, Merkava, Patriot, Apaches, anytime soon?

O tara ca Romania nu ar trebui sa aiba armata nationala pe timp de pace! Oricum marile puteri ne-ar putea ocupa in orice moment, iar fondurile cheltuite pe intrtinerea armatei ar putea macar sa fie utilizate pentru creearea mai multor locuri de munca sau in alte moduri folositoare comunitatii.

I expected to see something more advanced than upgraded Soviet weapons. The TR-85M1 is ok as an interim solution until a modern 4th generation MBT is purchased. The SA-2 Dvina/Volkhov the SA-125 and the KUB should be at museum and the MiG-21 LanceR´s replacement (although a fairly good upgrade) should be sped up. The acquisition of the Hawk XXI and of the two ex-British frigates was a good idea(still you had better options for the same buck). Any F-16, Merkava, Patriot, Apaches, anytime soon?

1.I am not Hungarian.
2. The bulk of Hungarians has Slavonic, German roots. Magyar language was imposed on the majority in 19 th century while Magyarisation. DNA of Hungarians are almost identical to all teh German and Slavonic people. Only 5 % has some similarity with Asian- Turkic and Ughurs. Romanian are predominantly close to Balkan people in genetics.
Just compare the appearance of Marika Rokk and Sofia Rotaru. Who is more Arian? By the way, I like the way Rotaru sings.

I dont know where did you hear these things,but they are wrong.Totally.Hungarians own the biggest gen. marks which are show how much origin has a nation from their roots.Yes,we get some mix during the centuries,but not as big as you say,much less.

The result of school brainwashing and fact-manipulating. Austria-Hungary was defeated by France, Great Britain and USA in 1918. Romania was just lucky to be their ally. That is why Romanian army occupied Hungary for some period. Hungarian army has never been defeated by Moldovan-Vlachian troops.
By the way, a couple years ago I had to change my mind concerning national oppressin in Transylvania before 1918.

I found out that in the Hngarina Transylvania there were more Romanian schools (close to 2900) thatn in the very Greater Romania. So it's up to you to make conclusions.
The bulk of Hungarians are of Slovak, German and Ukrainian origin. They just adapted Magyar language. Thus, they would be alien in Mongolian steppes.

We had to protect our own intrests and the germans couldn't care less about them,though we were their main ally in the east.Dont get me wrong we werent happy to go with russians along too we lost basarabia bucovina to them .

Hungary has got the strongest military aircraft in Central Europe. Hungary purchased new Jas 39 Gripen to enhance her fleet of fighters. Big fleet of Mig 29. Well-well, with such an arrogant faith in success you Romanians are at risk loosing all your possessions. Remember Russia of 1904 before Russo-Japanese war.
