  • how long did it take you to do a one arm chin up from when you first started training for it. Great job!

  • thats is sick, i can do 25 or so regular chin ups is that enough to start training for a 1-hander?

  • Hey man, yeah you can definitely start training for one arms. Start doing weighted chin ups (grab a 45 pound plate weight, attach it to a chain), and practice one arms by assisting with one finger (or two, if you can't do it yet) from your other arm. Once you can do it with a pinky, you're doing pretty well. You can also check how close you are by doing a lat pull down just with one arm, once you are close to your body weight you're almost there.

    Good luck training man!

  • Nice one, I recently got my first :D

  • Great work!!! Check out one of my videos 'cause I can also do one, not quite a full chin-up but my chin does clear the shelf :)

  • Thanks dude, keep working on it they're tough! How many chin ups can you do max? Once I got past 30, I started doing weighted chin ups, I recommend this so you can continue to build the pull down strength needed for the OA.
