Hey man, yeah you can definitely start training for one arms. Start doing weighted chin ups (grab a 45 pound plate weight, attach it to a chain), and practice one arms by assisting with one finger (or two, if you can't do it yet) from your other arm. Once you can do it with a pinky, you're doing pretty well. You can also check how close you are by doing a lat pull down just with one arm, once you are close to your body weight you're almost there.
Thanks dude, keep working on it they're tough! How many chin ups can you do max? Once I got past 30, I started doing weighted chin ups, I recommend this so you can continue to build the pull down strength needed for the OA.
how long did it take you to do a one arm chin up from when you first started training for it. Great job!

Great work!!! Check out one of my videos 'cause I can also do one, not quite a full chin-up but my chin does clear the shelf :)
