@MrAaronfernandes I started animating 2 years ago. Still at Animation Mentor. But I have taken a leave of absence for the next 6 months to go work on the game hitman 5 at IO Interactive
I can't believe you actually animated something by the same reference I did. Just finished the same russian dance, only for the week with "no-arms" stewie. Yours is great, mine could use some more work for sure. Great stuff you got on here, cartoony and really exagerated , appealing to look at.
Hi Jais. I'm trying to add you in AM but I couldn't find your name in the search bar :( I'm currently rolling Class 1 and your works are really inspiring. I hope you will be a pair of eyes in my works. Thanks. Giap.
amazing work! i'm just starting the Animation Mentor program tomorrow actually ....its really fantastic what you've accomplished here!! I have something to aspire to!
Yes. I'm an AM student. I use Maya but really animation is not dependent on software but more of your understanding of motion. Why things move and how.
@jaisemand thanks for the reply.................Any solid tip for animation do you draw sketches before animation i dont draw but most of the animators guide me to draw..
@umar6419 Yeah I draw some penciltests in a 2d software before jumping into 3d. That planning makes me more focused on what performance I'm trying to achieve. I use flipbook by digicel but it could be any 2d animation software really. And they dont have to be nice drawings. It's just to work out timing and flow of forces.
Check out my Class 1 video for a demonstration of this.
@jaisemand oHH it means i should also draw sketches and one more thing do you draw with tablet or mouse lol i cant draw with mouse and i dont have tablet .........
@umar6419 Some sort of sketches are helpful. But I have seen good animation done without. It's just my way of working. I have a cintique 12" and that is very helpful for me. Wacom will do even though you kinda miss a little bit in the eye hand coordination. But I couldn't do it with a mouse.
Also simple thumbnailing with pencil and paper can help you test out some poses etc.
your first shot was simply Brilliant .. GOOD job... love your works
