  • шикарно, просто шикарно

  • very nice going to try that at my next fight :)

  • I was lucky when i did this in my Junior MMA championship :)

  • Beautiful.

  • Beautiful!

  • Someone...is a beast.

  • clean

  • this is my pet peeve against bjjers. they swear that all submissions come from their arsensal. thats bull. bjj is a brazilian spin off of judo. Sambo has many influences of judo and other arts hand to hand russian arts. Once a judo or sambo guy understands jiu-jitsu its game over for the typical bjjer cause the judo or sambo guy becomes a complete grappler via fedor. plus the flying sub game is mastered by judo and sambo guys, rarely by bjjers.

  • Don't come here with that style vs. style bullshit, it's so old.

Fedor is the champ because he has talent, trains hard and has a winning mindset, it's the same with BJ Penn, Anderson Silva or any other champion. It doesn't mean that Sambo, BJJ or Muay Thai is better than the other.

  • u cannot deny it. for years bjj was viewed as the unbeatable style since the gracies and brazil. But when ppl started to counter w/ a base that is not bjj thats when everyone noticed something. because of fedor, gsp, hughes fighters wanted to become a complete grappler and to mostly dominate top position. thats the point I am making. yeah style vs style is dead but its funny that styles still make fights to this day. for ex: anderson vs forest, fedor vs nog, chuck vs couture or machida vs anyone

  • 100% spectacular!!

If you want to see the ultimate BJJ flying techniques, look for my videos.

  • bro, its such a small world. i was watching your two flying techniques yesterday, and then nailed them both in sparring that night. haha =)

flying armbars and triangle chokes are not just BJJ though. we train them in sambo, and they are trained in judo, CACC and shooto as well. respect.

the ones you showed were well taught.

i loved how they both did not require a hard tie up so your opponent doesn't know that they are in danger of it.

    good stuff.

  • Huh? Man, that's a competition, don't even try to compare staging videos with that.

  • flawless victrory!!!!!

  • Awesome and beatiful technique I"d like to see this technique in MMA , I"m sure a good level guy could make it work.

  • Watch Anderson Silva's fight with Ryo Chonan.

The actual submission that's used is a Heel Hook, but he enters into it the same way as in this video.

  • Thank"s I"ll watch that fight.

  • Close. The setup for a rolling kneebar and scissor are very similar when done statically, but the leverage and angle is very different. It's easy to be very good at one and be unable to do the other.

  • @BlackstarSirius

No it is a kneebar and Chonan "leaped" into it. Fail post.

  • watch?v=i6D-_jAIvqs

Nope. Chonan's was definitely a Heel Hook.

  • already been done...see Oleg Taktarov

  • Yeah I saw it, Oleg is fantastic and did against a powerful wrestler but I"d like to see it done by one of today"s MMA fighters like Fedor.

  • Who did Oleg do the Rolling Knee Bar against?

  • Matt "Pichicatero" Kerr!!!!!!!!!!

  • You mean Mark Kerr? Because I just watched that fight, and it didn't appear to be a Rolling Knee Bar, he did it as Kerr was attempting to pass his guard.

  • Yes, you"re right I was thinkig in just a kneebar. Oleg did a Rolling Kneebar against Marcos Rua and Dan "The Beast" Severn I guess unsucessfully but were great to see.

  • also john marsh in bodog

  • nice...

  • Gil, you're a freekin' monster. Oh, and watch the belt is a little late if he's already got yer belt, eh?

  • Gil for President

  • he did awsome!

  • freakin sweet

  • YEAH gil!!
