I find that when i try to make him roll around his face underneath the car scrapes on the floor . . . or namely his chin. If you twist his head and tuck it away it still touches the floor but it'll be the back of his head. Too bad, or am I transforming him improperly?

That's Optimus' energy axe from The Battle Begins two pack, It is by far thee best and most show accurate of all the energy axes, unfortunately they discontinued those so you're out of luck.

It isn't a sword, it's a lance. Like what knights use for jousting. Check out the Hasbro site. I think it first showed up in the episode where Headmaster took over his body.

because in the episode "Along Came a Spider", Sentinal Prime was the same size with Optimus Prime(Cybertron Mode), and Optimus Prime(Cybertron Mode) was Deluxe class.
