guitarkid2009, with one NXT and three motors it seems somehow difficult to control randomly 6 different figures... but there is always a good solution to every problem... (e.g. use two NXTs instead of one or add a mux device and more motors or use an IRlink sensor with PFs receivers and motors etc). NeXTSTORM

No! Actually the outcome is completely random (there is a software block that gives a random boost to each of the runners at each step). So you'll never know who will win the race. NeXTSTORM

Very nice job. This reminded me of an old arcade game where you place a bet on one of 5 mechanical horses, then the motorized horses run around the track at varying random speeds. If your horse comes first you win.

Indeed! Somehow I was inspired from those old games. Nowadays are extremely rare, but I know a place in Athens that you can still find such old staff. I can always turn this stadium to a horse-race area and use the original LEGO horses that fit perfectly in the existing lanes!!! Thank you for your comment!

Thanks for the comment! No unfortunately we're not so well organized in Greece. No such 'live' LEGO shows are in place. However it has been uploaded at the NXTLOG and the first Mindstorms NXT forum that has been very recently launched. Still, LEGO fans and groups in Greece are hard to find.
