  • @13etc13 The British ended Islamic power in India temporarily. The Khalsa had some signifcant victories in the North West, but was destroyed by the same force. However in 1947 Islam was reborn in India, now it has it's Million man army with 150 Nuclear weapons.

  • Mogol,Mughal empire=last Mongol empires

  • Typical bullshit Western history in the first 5 minutes. Babur was not leading a wondering nomad people from Afghanistan. Timur conquered Persia, and this lineage came to India. Babur was brought up in Persia and brought Persian culture to India. The language of the court was Farsi. The origins of Hindustani classical music (Dhrupad) are in the court of Akbar, where Tansen was. A fusion of Persian and Indian. A fusion. India is a fusion. Hindustan is no longer in existence.

  • All great empires claim to have been of "peace" well ofcourse cause they destroy all their rivals becomming great empires

  • @316Mongol "Aurangzeb was the Richest and most powerful man in the world!!"

He attained this title by massacring people, Stealing wealth of South Indian Empires that had existed for 1000s of Years before Islam, Not by winning hearts of people or being chosen by the people. Aurangzeb was nothing short of a Mad Tyrant hungry for power. He imprisoned his own Father and killed his brothers.

There was this common known story - Aurangzeb slept every night only after ensuring 100 Hindus were killed.

  • Rockets originated in China. The availability of black powder (gunpowder) to propel projectiles was a precursor to the development of the first solid rocket. Ninth century Chinese Taoist alchemists discovered black powder while searching for the elixir of life; this accidental discovery led to experiments as weapons such as bombs, cannon, incendiary fire arrows and rocket-propelled fire arrows.[nb 1] It was the Turks and the Timurids who took it to the next level with those monster canons.

  • This is an awesome documentary. You guys remember when history channel was good?

  • I dunno about that cannon firing 15 miles!

  • "The Rajasthani women killed themselves out of fear of losing their Honor"

Incorrect, Akbar was known to capture all women and make them his sex slaves under his Harem, This forced them to do kill themselves.

"The Mughals introduced Matchlock and Firearms to India"

Incorrect again, It was the Portuguese traders that introduced them to India a Century before the Mughals, Indian armies employed Firearms as early as 1400 AD as they traded their spices and Gold for Portuguese firearms and Cannons.

  • @forgottenmemories63 Yeah freaking history channel does it again!

I could deal with just leaving bits out but actually making things up?

Amazing how so many people don't seem to notice.

  • @forgottenmemories63 You are the one who is incorrect dude. Akbar [ the motherfucking bastard] did have many rajasthani women in his harem. But you need to understand that in those days there was no state as rajasthan .Rajputana was divided into five kingdoms in which CHITTOR was the capital of the rajputana kingdom of MEWAD.And the women of this state never fell into the hands of akbar or any other muslim ruler for that matter. They voluntarily jumped in fire preferring death to disgrace.

  • @forgottenmemories63 This practice was known as 'JAUHAR VRAT' in MEWAD and it happened thrice in CHITTOR'S history. The first lady to do this was queen PADMAVATI of CHITTOR. It happened during akbar's invasion too. look up queen padmavati or jauhar vrat on internet.I belong to rajasthan and have read about this part of history a lot.

  • Thank god the Brits civilized India...

  • @Mistermax30 I think that by the end of british rule, India civilized the brutish more than the british civilized India

  • @9senapati Doubtful. The Brits ended many of the more brutal Indian practices, including forcing women to throw themselves onto their husbands' burning funeral pyres, as required by sati law...

  • @Mistermax30 It was our blood and suffering which makes britain what it is, enlightenment in europe results in world war and Gandhi in India teaches nonviolence,

stop stealing others wealth from next time...Also, it were Indians who fought against sati in the nooks and corners of the country, british just passed the law.

  • @9senapati The fight against Sati law was much too low key to be an overall cultural movement. Under the Mughals, Sati practices were increased greatly. Europeans such as the Portuguese were the first who took an active role in stamping out these brutal practices. All empires are oppressive, and while I am not a big fan of European colonialism, there were great benefits from it that the PCists are too chicken shit to admit to...

  • @Mistermax30 Its amazing that people like to hear the good things that their supposed rule has given but do not like to consider it in the context of the number of people they actually killed, livelihoods destroyed and pushed people to poverty and gloat in the superiority of their race and worse, claim that the subjects are poor because of their culture(not they we robbed them). As far as the benefits go, you make an assumption that it could have come only in that manner, that I disagree with.

  • @Mistermax30 You really have no idea do you? Instead of arguing why don't you do a bit of research? The british were the ones who stole all the wealth from India, including the valued Kohinoor. The british in fact wanted to pull down the taj mahal so they could use the marble. Go to any fort or palace in India and see the holes were diamonds once were. And would you call tieing people to a canon and blowing their heads off civilized?

  • No mention of the Sikhs who defeated and wiped out the evil mughals...

  • @earlyhigh1 Sikhs was started by Guru who was initiated by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu who asked him to defend vedic literature and devotees.

  • I'm not Asian but I am impressed by Indian history, & then the british had to come & ruin everything as usual.

  • @wirungari While Mahatama Gandhi inspired well over 90% of the people to peaceful non co-operation of British rule.. there was a military genius.. Subash Chandra Bosh who lead tactical strikes against the british warriors that were bent on raping, killing, pilageing, destroy temples and deities. They lived by the sword and died by the sword... and to save face the british gave all credit to Gandhi. Still in fear of Chandra.. the atom bombs were dropped where he was in Japan.

  • The Mughals were Mongols and Turks and their empire brought Islam to India and what is today Pakistan the result of which we are still experiencing today. Afghanistan even though they are Muslims are allied under Hamid Kharzi to India not Pakistan which means Pakistan has enemies on both sides. To remedy the situation Pakistan arms and supports terrorists to try to take over Afghanistan which they accomplished for a while when the Taliban ruled Afghanistan.

  • @RAS1230 their founder was babur a direct descendant of genghis himself...
