how do you know that? the first episode started off like gundam wing, with the gundams appearence similar to the gundams destroying the OZ bases. setsuna always completes the mission just like heero doing his missions. as you can see, there are many simalarities between the series just like U.C. and C.E. double-what? seed was based off of the original gundam series, gundam 00 is based off of wing. there are events, fights, and episodes that are similar. the GN-flag is similar to gundam epyon(though not a gundam), the gundam meisters ambushed in the gobi desert is similar to the ambush by OZ on the wing pilots in ep 7 I think. and the big similarity, the 00 gundam making it's appearence in the middle of the 00 series just like wing gundam zero in wing. the 00 director was influenced by wing, GO!

uhhh. now your pretty much wrong. The gn flag is only similar to the epyon in that it only has a close range weapon. Gundam pilots have gotten ambushed in a bunch of gundam series. The 00 gundam is a midseries upgrade which has happened in every gundam tv show since Zeta.The similiarties between 00 and wing are superficial at best. The characters are a lot different. 00 is just a better show.

The director hasn't even seen wing. He said so in interviews.
